Rose & Co Apothecary Salves

Aside from some really nice Beauty Salves, Rose & Co Apothecary also carries more medicinal balms and salves that are along the lines of vapor rubs and muscle rubs, etc., a few of which I've picked up for myself and for holiday stocking stuffers.

- Zam-Buk Herbal Balm: I kept this one for myself because it looks so...mysterious ^.^ But I haven't used it yet. It's supposedly an antiseptic ointment and, according to the website, has some "amazing powers" and is great for traveling. Alright, I'll keep it with me xD

Zam-Buk Herbal Balm
Petrolatum, Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus) Oil, Cera Alba, (Beeswax), Pinus Sylvestris (Pine) Oil, Camphor, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Oil, Limonene, Linalool, CI 75810, (Chlorophyll).

- Jack Frost Vapor Rub: I come from the land of Tiger Balms so vapor rubs are no strangers to me. This was a stocking stuffer so no pictures of what it actually looks like inside.

Jack Frost Vapor Rub:
Petrolatum, Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus)Oil, Pinus Sylvestris (Pine) Oil, Mentha Piperata (Peppermint) Oil.

- Red Devil Balm: and English version of Tiger Balm, so to speak. It was also a stocking stuffer.

Red Devil Balm:
Petrolatum, Mentha Piperata (Peppermint) Oil, Melaleuca Cajaputi (Cajaput) Oil, Eugenia Caryophyllata (Clove) Oil, Cinnamomum Camphora, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum.

- Dr. Rose Salve Set: this was dad in law's stocking stuffer. After decades of some hardcore computer programing the man's retired and is now a carpenter, making wood furnitures for his family. When I saw him in late September/early October, his hands were in terrible shape. They were dry, and his fingertips were all cracked up and bleeding. So I thought this might help a little bit.

Good choice...I would totally keep the green one just to stare at it all day (as it's my favorite color)...It would be nice if it smells like matcha...

Hey Citrine!

LOL the color is the sole reason I kept it!!! No matcha fragrance though unfortunately. It's like a woodsier version of tiger balm ^.^

By the way, my Salsa Sun arrived xD I'll have to wait for a better lit day to take pictures though. It's all gray and grim this week. Urgh.

Cheers,
D.

That seems pretty fast for international shipping! Anyway, if you like orange-red kind of shade, I think Revlon colorburst lipstick in Coral is pretty much a lipstick version of salsa sun. They sacked it in CVS early 2011 but I think it should be easier to find compared to Maybelline. Other than that, I haven't find a orange-red I truly love in terms of color and finish.

Anyway, Revlon continuous coral mineral lip glaze is a rather pretty reddish-orange-coral but the formula isn't particularly moisturizing.
