Anthony Logistics Facial Scrub

Hubby is almost done with this travel sized 59mL/2 oz. tube of Anthony Logistics Facial Scrub, with my "help," of course :P

The Facial Scrub (the orange tube) came from The Perfect Shave Kit, which also includes the 2 oz. Pre-Shave Oil hubby used up long ago, 8 oz. Glycolic Facial Cleanser used up late last year (and I ended up liking it so much I bought multiple backups ^.^'), 6 oz. Shave Cream used up a while back also, and 2.5 oz. After Shave Balm, which has been lasting for several months now since hubby doesn't need much for each use. Over all, the Shave Kit was a really nice deal as the products are all generously sized and just the retail value of the Pre-Shave Oil, the Glycolic Facial Cleanser, the Shave Cream, and the After Shave Balm combined is already $80. The Facial Scrub and the toiletry bag are just extras bonuses thrown in.

I have extremely limited experience with men's skincare. I really wish otherwise, but unfortunately hubby doesn't give a rat's ass about his skincare xD He just use whatever I get for him and even then, I have to occasionally check up, as in, "Hunney, are you still good with your shaving cream/lotion/what have you?" I do believe he's in the shrinking minority though, and the younger generation is at least a little more discerning, which explains why most cosmetics-skincare brands now have a range of products dedicated to men. Over the years I've used tons of women's skincare products, and while there are a few super stars in between, most are just ho-hum average, with some being borderline blah-bland-crap. But it seems I've been really lucky with the few men's skincare products I'm exposed to so far.

All that is to say this Facial Scrub is fantastic! It has a light citrus fragrance and is quite an effective yet mild cleanser, and I call it a cleanser because I skip cleanser on the days I use it. The exfoliating beads are very fine, however they are dense enough to spare this scrub from becoming a ticklish cleanser like The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Exfoliator. At the same time, the fine beads keeps it gentle and not harsh. Every time I use it, my skin feels fresh and clean without any tightness or dryness. I will probably get a full size of this if I see a good sale/promotion.

Sounds like a great product! My bf also doesn't care about the products he uses, as long as they're not "sticky" i.e. moisturizing :P
I might have to get this set for him!

Hi Kuri!

It is a great product, although I have to say the Glycolic Facial Cleanser (from the same set) is by far my favorite cleanser hands down! The acid in it kept my skin super nice and clean, and it doesn't have any sulfates in it so it's very very mild! While doesn't foam at all, it rinses clean. How neat is that?

You should definitely "help" your bf use some of these products if you're going to get this set for him xD

Cheers,
D.

Heh, I'll definitely "help" him! The glycolic cleanser sounds really nice; maybe I'll just get him that first.

The Glycolic Cleanser's a great start! And where would our bf/hubby be if we weren't there to "help" them with their skincare?

^.^
