Afternoon Tea at the Oriental Lounge, Mandarin Oriental Tokyo Part IV

We had our last session of afternoon tea at the Oriental Lounge of Mandarin Oriental Tokyo in June. Four sittings and each was as spectacular as the last. No disappointments, no repeats, always something different and unique, and delicious. Gosh I love the tea service here, I really do. The next time we go back to Tokyo, this is where I'll be camping out ^.^

There were just me, hubby, and J., three of us, because everyone else took off on vacation to travel. We all opted for the champagne this time, though I ended up giving hubby mine after taking a sip. I'm not big on the alcohol thing...

This is J.'s tea set because she can't do seafood.

Hubby and I shared this set.

Savories.

Scones.

And sweets.

Delectable sweets that weren't too sweet.

I love these pudding in a glass that they do. The pudding melted in my mouth.

Thanks for your comprehensive write-ups on afternoon tea in Tokyo! I was in Tokyo Oct/Nov 2016 and I made sure we got our tea on. We went to the Park Hyatt in Shinjiku and the Mandarin Oriental in Nihombashi. The Mandarin Oriental was way way better than the Park Hyatt. Am a long-time reader, first time commenter. -- Eileen

Hi Eileen,

Thank you so much for reading and commenting!

I'm so glad my posts were of any help, and I'm happier that you enjoyed your tea session at the Mandarin Oriental. I'd totally mop their floor for a chance to ogle at all the goodies!

Cheers,
D.
