Suqqu Extra Glow Lipstick Part IV

I thought I wouldn't get to Suqqu 2017 spring releases for a long time but I was on a roll in May and plowed through the photo backlog. Here are the new Extra Glow Lipstick in 12 百合橙 (Yuridaidai) Sunny Orange, 13 冴薊 (Saeazami) Bright Pink, and the LE 102 澄薔薇 (Sumibara) Innocent Rose.

All pictures taken in natural light without flash.

Funny how I always fall for the LE bait even when I know it would be totally sheer and lacking in pigmentation. Actually, both 12 and 13 are less pigmented than the rest of the Extra Glow lineup, and more translucent and glossier too!

- 12 百合橙 (Yuridaidai) Sunny Orange: Sunny orange turns out to be a pretty apricot ^.^

Here's a comparison of (left to right) 03 粋桃 (Suitou), 05 冴杏 (Saeanzu), and 12 百合橙 (Yuridaidai) Sunny Orange.

- 13 冴薊 (Saeazami) Bright Pink: ...isn't that bright but a medium pink. As soon as I opened up this tube, I thought I was seeing double so I did some more comparisons.

Here are (left to right) Bright Up Lipstick 09 薊映 (Azamibae), and Extra Glow Lipstick 10 映華 (Haebana) and 13 冴薊 (Saeazami) Bright Pink. Yup, as I thought, very similar indeed! Why do I feel like Suqqu is recycling colors?

The comparison above made me even more curious. Here are BUL 08 澄橙 (Sumidaidai), EGL 12 百合橙 (Yuridaidai) Sunny Orange and 13 冴薊 (Saeazami) Bright Pink, and again BUL 09 薊映 (Azamibae).

- 102 澄薔薇 (Sumibara) Innocent Rose: a transparent rose.

At least EX-03 蜜柘榴 (Mitsuzakuro) Juicy Bordeaux and 102 澄薔薇 (Sumibara) Innocent Rose are different enough.

From lest to right: 12 百合橙 (Yuridaidai) Sunny Orange, 13 冴薊 (Saeazami) Bright Pink, and 102 澄薔薇 (Sumibara) Innocent Rose.
