Klorane Shampoo with Mango Butter

Finished this 25mL/0.8fl. oz. sample bottle of Klorane Shampoo with Mango Butter a couple of weeks ago so here's a belated post for it.

The first thing that struck me about this shampoo was the scent. It smelled A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Like a freshly cut mango. The first time I poured some out into my palm, I had to talk myself out of licking it ^.^ It smelled THAT good.

The shampoo itself was really thick and foamed like crazy--SLS was the second ingredient which made me a little sad. Anyway, I didn't need much to get a good and creamy lather, half the amount I usually use, so the 25mL bottle ended up lasting me much longer than expected, like a good ten days! I'd paired this shampoo with different conditioners with varied results. Pairing with the lazy conditioner aka Shikioriori Tsubaki Hair Essence Water made my hair super greasy the next day. Pairing with Bene Premium Bluria Moist Spa Treatment was much better, though my hair was still a bit weighty and oily by the end of the next day. So despite the seriously tempting fragrance, I won't purchase the full size.

I bought a fullsized bottle off Amazon after trying a Sephora tester, when used with the matching mango conditioner it made my hair so soft and shiny just with air drying...I thought about getting them again but I got bored by the scent already (and the combo is actually a little expensive for me).

Hey Mina,

May be that's what I'm missing--the matching conditioner! But you're right. I did look up the full size and found the set expensive. If I'm going to spend $40 on shampoo and conditioner, I'd rather buy Daeng Gi Meo Ri (and I did ^.^)

I did like the scent a lot! Have you tried any other shampoo from Klorane?

Cheers,
D.
