Tico's Eatery & Juice Bar, Princeton

Another must-have for me when in town is big cup of fresh squeezed juice and a Cuban Panini from Tico's Eatery & Juice Bar. This well hidden little gem is, well, hidden, as in it's not pretentious, flashy, or even jump out at you in any way. In fact, it blends right in with the blah offices in the same complex so you'd have to pay attention. But step inside and you'll get a cozy little deli that will give you ambrosia in a cup and heaven in a panini.

Surprisingly, the fresh squeeze juice isn't expensive as it could have been. You can either pick a blend or create a blend of your own with a base juice (orange, apple, or banana). My personal favorite blend is orange, apple, and strawberry. Every single time I get this blend it turns out different due to the variant in the fruits, but be rest assured the result is always delicious fresh squeezed juice from 3 oranges, 2 apples, and a handful of strawberries.

While the deli offers many items, many of them delicious, my most favorite of them all is the Cuban Panini with ham, roast pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard. Oh my god it's delicious. The roast pork moist and flavorful. And it has a very interesting texture. It's not stringy and not too rubbery or too tender. Instead, it has just the right amount of chewiness and from the moment you bite into it, the this perfect "tug" on your teeth along with the crunchiness of the panini bread outside make for an absolute pleasurable eat.

I couldn't resist taking a bite out of it prior to taking the picture xD

The portion is decent too, not too big, not too little. I purposely saved half of it here to enjoy later. It was still delicious when cold, even when the panini had lost its crunch. Damn I'm going to need to wipe up my keyboard after this post, having drooled all over it!
