L'Occitane Verdon Spring Set

Bought this L'Occitane Verdon Spring Set for hubby to try and immediately regretted it the moment I opened the box. This Verdon line is strongly scented with woodsy manly cologne. Sounds nice, only it's way to overpowering, as if someone poured an entire bottle of cologne into these products. It makes me wonder if L'Occitane thinks men stinks in general and need this much help in escaping their evolutionary residual caveman aroma. Urgh.

Verdon Spring Set, which includes a 100mL Invigorating Shave in an aerosol can, 50mL/1.7fl oz. Fresh Water Shower, 15mL/0.5fl oz. Energy Moisturizer in a squeeze tube, and 100g/3.5oz. bar of Verdon Soap.

So why am I posting on it anyway? Because, to my surprise, well more like shock, hubby liked it quite a bit! It was pretty much, huh, you think this smells good? WHAT?!?! I didn't expect that at all, especially when he dislikes pretty much everything else that even has a smell! Could it be my nose is somehow sensitive to this particular fragrance? It didn't smell that terrible on him, thank goodness, but by itself it's unbearable to me. Weird.

Invigorating Shave 100mL, hubby finished with this can just lask week!

Fresh Water Shower 50mL/1.7fl oz. and Energy Moisturizer 15mL/0.5fl oz. The Water Shower (gel) was the first to be emptied, and that was a couple of months ago. So it goes to show how much hubby liked this scent. How he can stand it still boggles my mind.

Ingredients for the shower gel and moisturizer.
