Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush

This Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush was released for Valentine's last year, and I think it might still be available online. I bought this around last summer but didn't get around to using it until now. This is a tri-color baked blush housed in a heart-shaped paper carton that's huge and bulky, especially when the blush itself is less than half as thick as the box!

All pictures taken in natural light without flash.

The blush is unscented and is baked into a heart shape tray with a raised dome. As expected of a baked powder, it feels dry to the touch. It is decently pigmented, and even though all three colors are on the light side they still show up pretty well on my skin. The colors are shimmery, packed with fine silvery micro shimmers that give more of a brushed chrome pearly finish (lots of brushed metallics lately!) than sparkly. And you can actually this silvery sheen on the pictures below too!

I started out applying the blush with a light hand because I'm weary it would be too frosty otherwise. The color can always be built up slowly and blended, and the result is a nice and glowing blush on sunny days. On overcast days though, the silvery shimmers do turn me a bit ashy on so I only wear this blush out when there's ample sun :)

From left to right:
- Cool pink with fine silvery micro shimmers. Depends on the angle the light hits, this color gains a slight fuchsia.
- An candied peach, also with fine silvery micro shimmers. This is an odd combination in my humble opinion, and not in a good way. There are times when silver shimmers gives an otherwise warm color an unexpected edge, but in this case I think it detracts from it. It's still pretty, but it would have been prettier with warmer shimmers, or even without any shimmers.
- A muted red blush, again with fine silvery micro shimmers. Same with the peach above, this color is pretty, but the silver shimmers takes away from otherwise lovely warm color.
