L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24HR Eyeshadow Part VI

Another part of my swap with Citrine was two L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24HR Eyeshadows in 556 Smoldering Plum and 800 Bottomless Java. I'd been eyeing these two colors for a while but was preoccupied with other things. Next I knew I was in Tokyo when Citrine emailed me about these babies being on sale, so we did a mini swap.
All pictures taken in natural light without flash.

I'd totally forgotten how much I love these! The moment I swatched these I wished I'd brought some from home :( They're so buttery and pigmented and just a joy to use. Damn it I miss my Infallibles!

- 556 Smoldering Plum: shimmer, high intensity. A shimmery deep eggplant that I'd expected to be warmer. At least with the photos I've seen online, it's a deep wine-maroon. But then I finally see it in person and it's much cooler! Either way, I love it. Makes a great liner, which is what I use it for.

- 800 Bottomless Java: shimmer, high intensity. An earthy chocolate with bronzy shimmers. Again, a perfect color to line my eyes with. Love! I accidentally deleted the product photo so I'll post later when I have a chance to retake it.

Direct and slanted shots to show that these are shimmery and not metallic like most other Infallibles I own. Still love them though!
