Mustela Multi-Sensory Bubble Bath

This 200mL/6.76fl. oz. bottle of Mustela Multi-Sensory Bubble Bath was from Bathtime Essentials Gift Set I bought during the previous Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The set also include 2-in-1 Cleansing Gel, No-Rinse Cleansing Water (seems like a good idea for travel), and Hydra Bebe Body Lotion, all of which I'm looking forward to try for our little one.

This is a clear blue bubble bath gel with the same scent as the Foam Shampoo for Newborns and the Gentle Cleansing Gel. I'm not sure if my little guy would ever need this at all ^.^" It's not like he rolls around in the dirt naked or anything. In general, hubby and I avoid washing him with soap unless we absolutely must (to remove sunscreens, for example).

But okay, I won't be that mama. A kid is a kid and hubby hatched the idea of letting him try a bubble bath some time last summer, when our little guy was about 15 months or so. I dug out this bottle from our toiletry closet and hubby proceeded to pour some into the running bath. Then the bubbles started to form and our little guy freaked out and tried to climb out of the tub xD Yes, the bubbles scared him LOL! Count that a failed first attempt.

A few months later we tried again, and this time our guy reacted much better. He actually played with the bubbles and seemed to really enjoyed it. Great, only he started developing dry patches on his arms and legs the very next day. Gah. We slathered him with lotion and haven't touched this bubble bath since. Le sigh. May be when he's a bit older. Or may be never ^.^"
