Lancome Creme-Mousse Confort Comforting Cleansing Creamy-Foam Part II

Update Thursday, October 3, 2024.

I just realized I reviewed an older version of this cleanser back in 2013, under a slightly different name! It was too drying for my skin then, and I'm happy they've reformulated it since and made it better :)

Finished this 50mL/1.7fl. oz. deluxe travel sized tube of Lancome Creme-Mousse Confort Comforting Cleansing Creamy-Foam a long time ago and liked it a lot. It was from a Lancome Skincare Essentials Collection that I got a couple of years ago, and I like it enough that I would probably purchase a full size if I ever see it on sale.

This was a pale pink cream that produced a very thick, dense, and creamy "micro-foam"--think the vanilla cream foam that tops your Starbuck drinks and not the usual bubbly soapy suds. It smelled really nice, a fresh and somewhat feminine scent that was very pleasant. Best of all, it didn't strip my skin after rinsing. Even hubby liked it! One of those rare foaming cleanser that was mild but effective. Totally recommend.

  2. Greetings. Thank you for reading and leaving a comment.

You are referring to Tonique Confort Toner that's pink, right? I actually did use that toner many years ago and it burned my skin and eyes :( I haven't tried it again since.

Have you tried it? Do you like it?

    1. I am currently using the pink toner, it's not bad it feels very nice, but I think it might be clogging my pores. Sometimes it stings and makes my face go red, I'm not sure why though.

  3. I had the same experience with this toner as well. Here's my review for the same toner way back in early 2013.

I'm sorry it's stinging you too. Could it be that your skin is especially thirsty and dry, and is flaking/cracking like mine was, and thus stings when you apply this toner?
