I know I get bored easily, because there's always at least 2 different shampoos and 2 different body washes in my shower ^.^ That said, one of them, however many, must be a clarifying shampoo. I have oily scalp, and without using a clarifying shampoo at least once or twice a week my hair just feel really gunky and heavy even though I wash it every day.
Here in Taipei, in addition to Asience Shine Therapy Shampoo TW and Tsubaki Shining Shampoo, I also bought this bottle of Mod's Hair Aqua Clear Reset Shampoo. This is not my first time using this shampoo, actually. I have used it way back in 2005-2006 when I was working in Japan. I wanted to try something else, but there was not really many choices for clarifying shampoo, at least not apparent to me. This is a Japanese import with a Mandarin-language sticker taped over the original Japanese on the back of the bottle.
This is a straight forward clarifying shampoo that's not too heavily scented. There's only a light soapy fragrance that I can barely detect, and this is a change from the version I used back then as I remember the strong perfume. Another change is that it's nowhere as harsh as the old formula, because I remember thinking, damn, my hair feels like straws after washing ^.^ At first I bought this bottle reluctantly, thinking back to my past experience, but I'm glad they changed the formula for the better after all. My hair now feels clean but not too stripped, and even after blow drying it does not feel dry. A very decent clarifying shampoo.
Hrm. I have oily hair, but haven't really noticed if I need a clarifying shampoo or not.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should try this.
I get bored of hair and body products so easily! I think I should stick to travel sizes from now on - it takes me forever to use up regular sizes :P
Hi kuri,
ReplyDeleteYup, my hair used to be super greasy the next day until I started using a clarifying shampoo every 3-4 days. I always think it's amazing that some people can go a few days without washing their hair, because mine would turn into dreadlocks... :X
Cheers,
D.
