L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24HR Eyeshadow Part II

Next up in the L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24HR Eyeshadow series is a mishmash of 7 colors from a few collections. I have 335 Golden Emerald and 996 Liquid Diamond from the 6 shades released in the summer of 2012, 405 Pink Sapphire, 407 Gold Imperial, 408 Gleaming Bronze from the It's Gold or Nothing at All Collection released also summer of 2012, and 507 Primped & Precious and 607 Blinged & Brilliant from The Diamond Collection released winter 2012.

Top row: 335 Golden Emerald and 996 Liquid Diamond.
Middle row: 405 Pink Sapphire, 407 Gold Imperial, and 408 Gleaming Bronze.
Bottom row: 507 Primped & Precious, and 607 Blinged & Brilliant. All pictures taken in natural light without flash.

Since I have already reviewed the eye shadows themselves, these later parts are all color descriptions and swatches. Please refer to the first post of the series for other details.

- 335 Golden Emerald: metallic high shimmer, medium intensity. An emerald with a golden sheen, topped of with sparkling gold shimmers. This color is freakin' amazing! It doesn't matter which source of light you're looking under, natural or indoor, the gold shimmers just set this color on fire! If you're looking for a more "quiet" metallic though, this is probably not the color for you ^.^

- 996 Liquid Diamond: metallic, medium intensity. A silvery grey with lavender undertones and a lilac sheen when the light hits at certain angles, complete with white shimmers. Really pretty!

335 Golden Emerald and 996 Liquid Diamond. You can sort of see both the golden sparkles in 335 Golden Emerald as well as the lavender tone and lilac sheen in 996 Liquid Diamond.

- 405 Pink Sapphire: metallic, medium intensity. A translucent warm pink with some beige that's very buildable from a sheerer wash to a more opaque metallic sheen. It looks very pink in the pot but it goes on me with a lot more beige. This color along with 407 Gold Imperial and 607 Blinged & Brilliant are 3 of the most perfect wash colors I own. I literally pick one of the 3 depending on my mood, 405 Pink Sapphire for a feminine look, 407 Gold Imperial for glamor, or 607 Blinged & Brilliant for classic sophistication, line my eyes, and the wash itself will make the look. That's just how gorgeous these are. I have backups of all 3, because I've been wearing them a lot (because I'm lazy like that).

- 407 Gold Imperial: metallic high shimmer, medium intensity. A translucent neutral champagne gold, again very buildable from a sheerer wash to a more opaque metallic sheen. It looks a lot more yellow in the pot than on my skin. Like 335 Golden Emerald above, on top of being intensely metallic this color also have high wattage gold shimmers that just lights up under any source of light. It's one of my most loved wash colors, along with 405 Pink Sapphire above and 607 Blinged & Brilliant below, and they're so breathtaking on their own you really don't need, or even want, to layer anything over them!

- 408 Gleaming Bronze: metallic, high intensity. This color is not really bronze but more of a bronzed olive. I tend to think bronzes are warm, and while this color looks a deep brown in the pot, it's very neutral on me and has a very pretty metallic golden olive sheen that can turn olive at certain angles. Another very interesting color.

405 Pink Sapphire, 407 Gold Imperial, and 408 Gleaming Bronze. See how 405 Pink Sapphire is a lot more beige-y on me? And you can sort of see the golden olive in 408 Gleaming Bronze too!

- 507 Primped & Precious: metallic, medium intensity. Whereas 996 Liquid Diamond above is a lavender-toned silvery gray, this one is a denim blue-toned smokey silver. You can actually see the denim blue tone better in the close-up picture here than in the swatch below.

- 607 Blinged & Brilliant: metallic, medium intensity. If you are looking for that perfect metallic beige for that classic wash-and-liner look, this is it! Like the Sephora Collection Outrageous Prisma Chrome Metallic Eye Shadow #1 Metallic Beige, this color is also pink-toned, but it goes on my skin with a hint of peach and is slightly warmer, while the Sephora counterpart is more neutral. With 405 Pink Sapphire and 407 Gold Imperial for glamor above, it's part of my go-to washes, although I will admit I reach for this one most often, then 405 Pink Sapphire.

507 Primped & Precious, and 607 Blinged & Brilliant. You can sort of see the silvery sheen in the 507 Primped & Precious swatch.
