Afternoon Tea at the Oriental Lounge, Mandarin Oriental Tokyo Part III

A week after our day trip to Nagoya, my in-laws came for a quick one week visit, partly because mum-in-law wanted to visit her old college roommate, Mrs. H with whom we've been acquainted since our days in Yokohama. Hubby has always credited his mum for his interest in East Asian literature. Thanks to Mrs. H who has kept contact with mum-in-law through all these years, hubby was exposed to "Asian things" from an early age.

Anyway, to fight off the jet lag, we brought mum and aunt-in-law to the Mandarin Oriental for a tea session, and they both loved it so much they wanted to go again. We picked a different place for our second visit though, because it's kind of embarrassing to return to the same hotel for tea twice in the same week LOL ^.^" Will post that soon too.

Nagoya Castle, Nagoya, Aichi, Part II (Picture heavy!)

Here we are, four years later visiting Nagoya Castle again, right in the beginning of April when the sakura just bloomed. This time, J. came along with us. I'd been talking nonstop about Yamachan, and being a fellow wings-lover J. had to come along and give it a try.

But of course we had to eat lunch first a Chinese restaurant called "想吃担担面" at Nagoya Station. We didn't expect much but it turned out better than we thought, especially the almond tofu and sesame tofu desserts. Totally delectable!

Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Face Creme

More goodies from the Sephora Favorites Skin Wonderland set--a 7mL/0.25fl oz. jar of Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Face Creme. Here's a quick review for it.

This is a light cream I use for my daytime routine. It's light and absorbs quickly, and it smells mildly of coconut! I like it okay and it does its job adequately, but there's nothing special or impressive about it. Will not purchase full size.

Been using this 5mL/0.17oz of Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream for the past few weeks as a daytime eye cream, so here's a quick review for it.

Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser With Cottonseed

After the gigantic tube of Rosette Horse Oil Traditional Cleansing Paste that took hubby and I more than half a year to use up, we were ready for some change. And by change we mean no more giant tubes of Japanese foaming cleanser that's harsh and foam like mad. So we opted for this 30mL/0.7oz. tube of Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser With Cottonseed instead.

Lunasol Stain Color Lips Part II

So...guess what happened. I bought more of the Lunasol Stain Color Lips =.= Are you surprised? Of 2015 summer limited edition releases, I got EX02 Fresh Coral and EX03 Energy Red. I also picked up EX05 Vivid Red, a limited edition from 2015 fall collection.

Addiction 2016 Fall Limited Edition Swatches

Another part of my visit to Ginza Mitsukoshi was to spy on Addiction's 2016 Fall collection Modern Nostalgia.

There are six new colors for The Eyeshadow, all are limited editions and I swatched them all. 

Of the five new colors for Lipstick Pure, only three are limited edition, and of those three I only swatched the one I was most curious about. Can you guess which? ^.^

Three Mesmerizing Performance Eyeliner Pencil Limited Edition Color Swatches

Went out to Ginza Mitsukoshi last Friday to check out the three limited edition releases of Three Mesmerizing Performance Eyeliner Pencil, the new incarnation of the just-discontinued Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencils.   

The LE colors are 01 MJ:We Love You, 02 AW:Sense of Selfie, and 03 JMB:Samo.

Aritaum Shine Fix Eyes

I saw these Aritaum Shine Fix Eyes on Citrine's blog and my first thought was, Korean super sparkly version of L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows? Yes, please!

There are many colors, and of course many have been discontinued including several of the colors I wanted. But whatever, I'm late to the game to I'll take what I can get. Thankfully, Korea Department Store had some left.

Innisfree Glow Tint Stick

When I first saw these Innisfree Glow Tint Stick, I thought, oooh sheer, translucent, and glossy lippies, I'm in! So I went and grabbed them off of Korea Department Store.

There are 10 colors available, and just looking at the stock photos, I picked 02 Tangerine Sunlight, 03 Coral Lake, 05 Pink Cheek, 06 Coral Sunset, 07 Pink Cloud, 08 Red Sunset, and 09 Evening Sunset, skipping over 01 Coral Spring, 04 Spring Rose, and 10 Rosy Sunset.

Three Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencil Part II

So I've just been informed that Three is discontinuing all 8 of these Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencils, which means I've got to push this review for 02 Eye Believe out the door and then hurrying on to grab my backups before they're gone forever (they'll be pulled from the counters after August 9). Why?!? I just can't even... O.o

Lunasol Stain Color Lips

This Lunasol Stain Color Lips in 07 Fresh Orange was an impulse buy when I was picking up my order of the Clear Colorful Eyes. Actually, it wasn't even impulse buy, more like desperate buy, because I was desperate for a Lunasol lippie, having tried only one so far, the Full Glamour Lips in 02 Cherry Red.
