Malin+Goetz Lip Moisturizer and Mojito Lip Balm

This Malin+Goetz Lip Service Lip Moisturizer + Mojito Lip Balm set was a random cart filler for a Nordstrom order that ended up being a hit. It contains a 10mL/0.3fl. oz. tube each of Lip Moisturizer and Mojito Lip Balm.

I haven't heard of them before but Malin+Goetz is a New York-based apothecary with unisex demographics. Now that I've tried these balms, I'm actually curious to try their other skincare items too. Why? Because these balms are great! They actually feel very similar, if not identical, to Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer, save for the fact that they're completely colorless and transparent. Oh, they're a bit more affordable than Jouer too, $14 for 10mL of product.

Their website calls this a gel but it feels very much like an oil-based balm, without any oiliness. It's soothing, moisturizing, and glossy. If you're wondering why I'm reviewing them both in the same post, it's because the Lip Moisturizer is unscented and the Mojito Lip Balm is scented with, well, the mojito scent which isn't that bad.

So I keep the unscented Lip Moisturizer on my nightstand (and have already used up half the tube!) for hubby's sake and the Mojito Lip Balm in the kitchen trinket tray.
