Mommy! Sun Protect UV Natural Gel SPF33 PA+++

Woops--more than three quarter way through this 250g pump bottle of Mommy! Sun Protect UV Natural Gel SPF33 PA+++ for our three-year old so this review is overdue.

Since sending our toddler back to preschool in mid-July, hubby has been faithfully slathering the little guy with this gel before heading out. The school requires parents to apply sunscreen to their kids before coming to school, then in the afternoon their teachers reapply with a mineral sun stick.

Aside from Nivea Sun Protect Water Gel for Kids SPF28 PA++, I think this is the best kid sunscreen gel we've used thus far. This Mommy! sunscreen has slightly higher SPF than Nivea, however it's also for kids one year or older (versus babies 6 months or older for Nivea), so you win some you lose some I guess.

Why do we like this sunscreen gel? Well, it's light, with super easy application that absorbs well and clean. Most importantly, our little guy's skin seems to tolerate it much better than Pure Shower UV Cut Water Gel SPF30 PA+++, as in he has had no random dry spots on his legs, tummy, etc. This gel is also scented, a very faint fruity fragrance with a slight citrus twist. My little guy didn't seem to mind this scent and neither do I. If you have kiddos, both this and Nivea are excellent daily sunscreen that are easy-on easy-off, as in they're not meant for prolonged outdoor activities like swimming, hiking, or sports.

By the way, I ended up giving Pure Shower bottle with more than half left away to my sister. And surprisingly enough, even with her sensitive skin she really liked it and finished the bottle within the month!
