Johnson's Baby Lotion

Continuing on with my trials and errors with baby lotions. Here's the 800mL/27.1fl. oz. pump bottle of Johnson's Baby Lotion that I keep in the kitchen to use as hand lotion. Yes, you read that right. I'm not using this lotion for my boys but for myself and hubby, for our hands ^.^"

HABA Point Repair II

Been using this 16mL tube of HABA Point Repair II as eye serum every other night on my "spa" nights, when I apply a sleeping mask instead of the usual moisturizer (DHC Enriched Night Cream Repair & Lift Extra). I learned of this eye cream a while ago, like several years ago, from Anna of My Asian Skincare Story (sadly offline now T.T). Anna sang its praises so I thought I'd try a tube and really like it. Unfortunately, this eye cream has also been discontinued so this post is pretty much useless :( Sigh.

Erborian Double Mousse Gentle Cleansing Foam

Hubby and I are using this 145mL/4.9fl. oz. pump bottle of Erborian Double Mousse Gentle Cleansing Foam. This is an instant foaming face wash and I use it as a follow up cleanser after removing sunscreen and sometimes makeup with a cleansing oil. Erborian is a Korean brand I believe, readily available via Sephora and other online sources.

Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm

This post is super late but better late than never. I was using this 99g/3.5oz. jar of Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm for a few weeks but in the end gave up and got rid of it.

DHC Lip Oil Essence

This DHC Lip Oil Essence x Disney packaging was a LE release in 2018. There were originally 3 colors: PK01 (Rapunzel), OR02 (Belle), and RD03 (Ariel) (see this Japanese blog post for more pictures). I got OR02 (Belle) as a cart filler and ended up loving it, and of course being a 3yr-old LE release it's no longer available anywhere T.T

All pictures taken in natural light without flash.

Melano CC Anti-Spot White Lotion Part II

Since the weather got cold and dry, I replaced the bottle of Melano CC Anti-Spot White Lotion I'm using with the Moisturizing Type version. I just bought the 170mL refill pouch that I then poured into an empty bottle, pretty convenient.

Darphin Lumiere Essentielle Illuminating Oil Serum

After Biotherm Blue Therapy Serum-in-Oil Night, I moved on to this 30mL/1fl. oz. pump bottle of Darphin Lumiere Essentielle Illuminating Oil Serum and really like it as well.

L'Occitane Ultra Light Body Cream

Almost done with this 200mL/4.5oz. jar of L'Occitane Ultra Light Body Cream Festive Garden. I'm actually going through this jar way faster than expected too!

Biotherm Blue Therapy Serum-in-Oil Night

This 10mL/0.33fl. oz. travel sized tube of Biotherm Blue Therapy Serum-in-Oil Night was such a surprise hit. I didn't think much of it at first but it grew on me after just a couple of uses.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream

I have one use left of this 7mL/0.25fl. oz. of Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream and liking it well enough to think of getting a full size jar.

L'Occitane Aromachologie Relaxing Body Cream

Finished with this 200mL/6.7fl. oz. glass jar of L'Occitane Aromachologie Relaxing Body Cream a few weeks ago so here's a belated post for it.

I started using this body cream 2-3 months ago and only used it on occasions, when I have time to slowly apply body cream and not just rush around, slap it on real quick and go. It was the sole reason I picked this jar, for the "relaxing" part.

Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Memory Sleep Mask

So I'm obsessed with sleeping masks at the moment, and I blame this 15mL/0.5fl. oz. freebie jar of Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Memory Sleep Mask that I got from LookFantastic when I placed an order a short while ago. Let's just say I've since hoarded a few full size jars. Even more impressive is that hubby shares them with me and he loves this stuff as much as I do, and it's no small feat to convert him.

Honestly, celebrity dermatologist, cosmetic surgeons, chemist brands and other name-brands just make me roll my eyes. Worse, I don't have a good impression of sleeping masks. Many years (like, more than a decade) ago, I used jar after jar of the super popular Laneige Water Sleeping Pack as well as other Korean sleeping masks but totally didn't get what the big deal was, and thus haven't bothered with any mask since, sleeping or wash-off or sheet or otherwise. I already have so little time to do anything, why waste it on masks? Plus I'm lazy :P For all the time and efforts that masks require, I felt the return just wasn't worth it, because I didn't and still don't get how a sleeping mask differs with a really good night cream. Any freebie mask I received over the past decade+, I immediately gave away.

Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil

Just finished this 125mL/4.2fl. oz. bottle of Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil so here's a quick post for it.

This is a simple and straightforward cleansing oil that's unscented, which means it smells like, well, oil. It's not too thick, not too thin, and does a great job of removing sunscreen. It rinses well and my skin isn't taut after rinsing. Oh, and it's mineral oil-free! I enjoyed using it and am ready to move on to try something new.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser

Update Friday, December 3, 2021.

Been using this full size 75mL/2.5fl. oz. tube of Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser as well. Hubby and I like that it's a no-nonsense and straightforward cleanser that does its job well.

Moved on to this 30mL/1fl. oz. tube of Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser after finishing Boscia Tsubaki Oil-Infused Exfoliating Powder. This tube was part of a generous GWP from Nordstrom a while back.
