Clarins Men Active Face Wash

I feel like I'd neglected Japanese skincare brands this past year having purchased a lot of Clarins, Origins, and Jurlique. Out of sight, out of mind, I guess. It used to be that I'd peruse the drugstore shelves and the department store counters in Tokyo and pick out an item I'm curious about. Ha. Those were the days.

Anyway, I'm not just buying for myself but for hubby too. During one sale, I picked up a Clarins Men Age-Control Collection because it had a gel moisturizer in a pump bottle, and hubby is partial to gels and gel-creams. He hasn't gotten to the gel yet, but we're both using the 30mL/1.06oz. tube of the Active Face Wash right now and really like it.

Celvoke Voluntary Eyes

Celvoke started to pop up in my Insta feed in the spring of this year. Being a new kid on the (high-end) block, I was intrigued but wasn't ready to give the brand a try until I saw photos of their Voluntary Eyes (what a weird name!) shadow singles tester board. By the end of the summer, I gave in and picked up 06 Chocolate Brown, 07 Tan, 09 Roshenna, and 12 Dark Purple from the 24 colors available.

Lunasol Shine Fall Eyes

Since August, I've been sitting on this gorgeous Lunasol Shine Fall Eyes palette EX01 Artistic Tone, fall 2017's Shinjuku Isetan exclusive. There was also a Full Glamour Lips EX09 which I skipped. I didn't like that Lunasol had changed the texture and pigmentation level for these lipsticks, making them creamy and semi-opaque, at least that's how I remember them. The last release I'd played with in person was the fall 2016 collection.

Estee Lauder Nutritious Radiant Vitality 2-in-1 Foam Cleanser

After staying away for a few years, this Estee Lauder GWP finally tempted me to try their products again, because I'm dopey like that. I have nothing against the brand, just that I didn't care for either the makeup or the skincare. Having tried enough of both, I thought the makeup is meh and the skincare too expensive for doing sweet nothing.

Well guess what, this 30mL/1fl. oz. freebie tube of Nutritious Radiant Vitality 2-in-1 Foam Cleanser did "something".

Josie Maran Argan Infinity Intensive Creamy Oil

Been using this 15mL/0.5fl. oz. tube of Josie Maran Argan Infinity Intensive Creamy Oil for the past week after finishing Nude ProGenius Rescue Oil. 

Astalift Cleansing Gel

Almost done with this tiny 12g tube of Astalift Cleansing Gel from the Jelly Aquarysta Gift Set I bought way back then. Along with the Complete Makeup Remover Oil, I can't believe it took me this long to try them both--they're really quite good!

Clarins Joli Rouge Brilliant Part II

With one of its generous GWP, Clarins tempted me into getting more of the Joli Rouge Brilliant, this time in the newer gold packaging: 07 Raspberry, 13 Cherry, 26 Hibiscus, and 33 Soft Plum.
