Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Rx

Just finished with this 30mL/1.01fl. oz. bottle of Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Rx received from Caty in a luxurious care package last July--thank you, Caty! 

This was Missha's take of the fermented yeast extract essence/water/toner/lotion and I've tried several over the years, Komenuka Bijin, SK-II, Suppin, Tonoike Shuzou, Boscia, to name a few. Kiku-Masamune Kome and Hakko Cleansing Balm

Almost done with this 93g jar of Kiku-Masamune Kome and Hakko Cleansing Balm. This was supposedly a 3-in-1 product, removing makeup, face wash (which is usually a separate step involving a foaming follow-up cleanser), and massage. However, I use it like any other cleansing balm and do use a separate foaming follow-up cleanser anyway (Apriori Beauty ProDermalin Pure Basics Face Gentle Cleanser).

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Revitalise & Glow Serum

This tiny 4mL/0.14fl. oz. dropper bottle of Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Revitalise & Glow Serum lasted me for about 3 uses so here's a short post for it.

This was a light and runny milky emulsion and it went on like, erhhh, air, as in I didn't feel like I put anything on at all. Which is to say I did wish it was thicker and more moisturizing but since the weather's been warm, it was ok? I used 2 full droppers for my face and neck area. There was a faint scent that I couldn't discern and stopped noticing. Will not purchase full size.

Pai Light Work Rosehip Fruit Extract Cleansing Oil

So hubby and I are doing some bathroom remodeling work (we had a pipe leak) that locked us out of our bedroom and bathroom for a good two weeks, which was much longer than expected. We were told 3-4 days at most, and that turned into 15 days. I had grabbed whatever toiletries I thought we'd need, but of course they weren't enough to last us for 2 weeks. So I started using whatever that was lying around on my desk, samples, stuff that were waiting to be photographed, wrapped, and stored, etc.

Among the stuff I was grabbed was this 28mL/0.95fl. oz. travel sized pump bottle of Pai Light Work Rosehip Fruit Extract Cleansing Oil. This bottle was from a Skincare Rosehip Bestsellers Set. 

Sekkisei Treatment Cleansing Oil

For many years now (a decade, actually, since 2012!), Sekkisei USA has been trying--and failing--to tempt me to try their products. Why? Because in 2011, I did try their famous Lotion and Emulsion and just plain hated them. They were just sticky and icky, and way too strongly scented. 

But that was when hubby and I were still in Yokohama where the weather itself got sticky and icky at certain times of the year. That, and I was also ten years younger with skin that wasn't as dry as it is now. Now that we're living in a much drier climate and my skin is also dry all the time, I'm ready to try Sekkisei products again. And so when they ran a generous promotion a couple of months back, I placed an order for a couple things (the Cream and Essence, will get to them later) and got a bunch of freebies to try.

First up is this tiny 9mL/0.3fl. oz. bottle of Treatment Cleansing Oil from the Winter Skincare Mini Set GWP. Not sure why it's called Treatment Cleansing Oil, because I don't know what it's treating, but ok whatever.

Apriori Beauty was a boutique spa brand that my mum-in-law used to like and recommended to me, so I went and bought some when they had a sale. Since then, the brand is no longer around so I suppose this review is moot, but hey, this blog is my product diary so oh well :)

Among the few things I bought was this 89mL/3fl. oz. tube ProDermalin Pure Basics Face Gentle Cleanser. I'm also using the Calming Moisture, which I'll post next. 

DHC Olive Leaf Cream Part II

Some tens years after I first tried DHC Olive Leaf Cream, here I am finally getting around to use a full sized 40g/1.4oz. jar, only to learn that DHC has discontinued the whole line a while ago :(

DHC Olive Leaf Milk

I'm using this 80mL/2.7fl. oz. pump bottle of DHC Olive Leaf Milk in conjunction with the Lotion and Cream. I shower in the afternoon these days when the kids are at school, because I won't have a chance to otherwise when they're home. This means I need something to hold me over until my nighttime routine so I won't feel like a walking alligator.

Been using this 120mL/4fl. oz. DHC Olive Leaf Lotion along with the Milk and Cream (will post next). Now that I'm showering in the late afternoon, these products hold me over until my nighttime routine so I don't feel like a shriveling tree all evening. 

Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer Shine Balm

At long last, I'm finally posting about Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer Shine Balm which I've been using for the past couple of years now. The first three colors I bought were Dahlia, Mariposa, and Poppy, with each tube containing a generous 4g of product. I did go back for a couple more colors and will post those later.

L'Occitane Karite Bebe Lovely & Gentle Moisturizing Milk

Half way through this 300mL/10.1fl. oz. pump bottle of L'Occitane Karite Bebe Lovely & Gentle Moisturizing Milk. I originally bought this with the intention of using it on my little ones. However, after trying the Shea Baby Karite Bebe Bonding Time Massage Balm in the same collection, I decided to use it on myself instead. Can you guess why?

La Roche-Posay Lipikar Lotion

Been using this 400mL/13.52fl. oz. pump bottle of La Roche-Posay Lipikar Lotion. I also have a supposedly thick Balm version which I'm saving for use next winter.
