Been using this 100mL/3.38fl. oz. tube of Amore Pacific Moisture Bound Sleeping Recovery Masque since the late spring. Now I'm not using this sleeping mask exclusively but in conjunction with 4 others, for a total of 5 sleeping masks on rotation, so on average I use each mask once a week.
This is a slightly runny gel cream. It's pretty moisturizing but is also very perfumy with the same scent as the Amore Pacific Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Serum (will post soon). Funny enough, over the months I slowly get used to the scent and it's not as overpowering as it was the first several uses. Still, I wish it wasn't so strong.
As a mask, it's pretty lovely. It goes on a bit cushy, which makes me think there's quite a bit of silicone in the ingredients. However, other than the cushiness, there's no slippery feel which makes it a little more tolerable for me. It's moisturizing, and leaves my skin plump and happy the next day. I want a backup tube, but I can't find it on Amore Pacific's website anymore which probably means it's been discontinued. Boo. Hiss.
Finally, I find the packaging cumbersome. Yes, it's in a tube, but with a twist-dispenser right in the cap. As in I don't take the cap off to dispense. I just twist the cap and dispense, and this sometimes leaves a mess on the cap itself, which I'm supposed to cover with this translucent plastic sleeve. Why so complicated? Why not just make the cap a twist-off and the tube squeezable like everything else?
