Soap Crazy Part XVI

It's been five years since my last Soap Crazy post and I've got a whole list of soap bars to post about. Also, is it me or the years are just flying by faster and faster?

Let's start with Chivas Goat Milk Skin Care. This is a "farm-to-home" brand by a mother-daughter team with their family-owned farm in Fillmore, California. They make soaps and essential oils with goat milk and herbs from their farm, and their products are wholesome and supposedly gentle for use on the face in addition to the body.

- Oak Meadows Ranch Pure Goat Milk Soap Invigorating Rosemary Fennel, 128g/4.5oz.: I didn't used this bar on my face but it was great for everywhere else! And good thing I didn't use this on my face, because it's super duper scratchy with huge exfoliating particles that's scratchy even for my knees and elbows. I end up using it to scrub my feet, which says something. Not recommended unless you're also looking for a feet-scrub bar.

L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cleansing Balm

Speaking of a cleansing balm I thought was special: this 60g/2.1oz. jar of L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cleansing Balm. Too bad there was only 60g of it. Seriously, L'Occitane, $50 for a 60g jar of cleansing balm? What kind of highway robbery is this?!

L'Occitane Mineral Moisture Mask

I received a 6mL/0.2oz. supposedly single-use packet of this L'Occitane Mineral Moisture Mask and bought an additional 7 more, for a total of 8 packets and 24mL. Because there's just no way I'd use the whole packet in one application, so I emptied them all into a glass jar and use them like sleeping mask, which they are.

L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Make-up Remover

I had 2 of these 200mL/6.7fl. oz. pump bottles of L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Make-up Remover but only kept one (the other went to mum). I really like the Pivoine Sublime product line so was keen to try anything with this scent. Too bad they discontinued the line :(

L'Occitane Lip Balm

This 4mL/0.13oz. tube of L'Occitane Lip Balm in the Honey Harvest scent is another lippie I have in my gym bag (I think there must be half a dozen of lippies in each of my bag ^.^"). It came from the Soak it All Up Gift I received with an order a while ago, and the tube is tiny and therefore quite portable.

All pictures taken in natural light without flash.

L'Occitane Ultra Light Body Cream Part III

Here are a few more 200mL/4.5oz. jars of L'Occitane Ultra Light Body Cream I used up this past fall and holiday season: Bergamot, Invigorating Scent, and Violet.

- Bergamot: actually, I didn't finish this jar. In fact, I barely got to use it. The scent was a floral with a slight citrus twist. It wasn't a bad scent, at least I didn't think it was terrible. It was just a tad strong. For some reason though, hubby hated this scent. He complained bitterly every time I used it. After a few times, I was so annoyed I passed the still-full jar on to my mom just so hubby would stop complaining. And he did. LOL!

L'Occitane Karite Bebe Lovely & Gentle Moisturizing Milk

Half way through this 300mL/10.1fl. oz. pump bottle of L'Occitane Karite Bebe Lovely & Gentle Moisturizing Milk. I originally bought this with the intention of using it on my little ones. However, after trying the Shea Baby Karite Bebe Bonding Time Massage Balm in the same collection, I decided to use it on myself instead. Can you guess why?

After a few years forgotten in a drawer, I finally dug out this tiny 2g/0.07oz. sample tube of L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Lip Balm to use.

L'Occitane Ultra Light Body Cream Part II

After using up Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Honey Drops Body Cream, I moved on to this 200mL/4.5oz. jar of L'Occitane Ultra Light Body Cream in the Original Shea scent and finished it in a snap as well.

L'Occitane Ultra Light Body Cream

Almost done with this 200mL/4.5oz. jar of L'Occitane Ultra Light Body Cream Festive Garden. I'm actually going through this jar way faster than expected too!

L'Occitane Aromachologie Relaxing Body Cream

Finished with this 200mL/6.7fl. oz. glass jar of L'Occitane Aromachologie Relaxing Body Cream a few weeks ago so here's a belated post for it.

I started using this body cream 2-3 months ago and only used it on occasions, when I have time to slowly apply body cream and not just rush around, slap it on real quick and go. It was the sole reason I picked this jar, for the "relaxing" part.

L'Occitane Aqua Reotier Water Gel Cleanser

Another report post that fell through the crack: we used this 40mL/1.3fl. oz. tube of L'Occitane Aqua Reotier Water Gel Cleanser after finishing Komenuka Bijin Cleansing Foam, and went through the small sample tube within a couple of weeks! The tube was part of the Glowing Beauty GWP.

L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Youth Oil

Here's a quick post for this L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Youth Oil I've been using off and on for months since the late summer. Somehow, I ended up with 5 of these 1mL/0.03fl. oz. sachets and pour them all into the emptied 5mL dropper bottle that once housed DHC Olive Virgin Oil

L'Occitane Aqua Reotier Ultra Thirst-Quenching Gel

Hubby just finished this 8mL/0.27oz. jar of L'Occitane Aqua Reotier Ultra Thirst-Quenching Gel so here's a quick post for it. It was from the Summer Beauty GWP I received with an order last year.
