Three Balancing Cleansing Oil Gel

Hubby and I took our boys to Japan for the month of June, and among the few toiletries I brought was this 28g travel sized tube of Three Balancing Cleansing Oil Gel from a Skincare Ritual Kit I bought a while ago. 

Of course, by the time I got to Japan and went to my old haunt, the cosmetics floor in the basement of the Ginza Mitsukoshi, this Oil Gel was already discontinued, replaced by a Balancing Cleansing Balm 90g and an Aiming Soft Cleansing Oil Gel 85g. I bought both to try. Will post about them later.

 

Three Lip Conscious Protector SPF35 PA+++

This Three Lip Conscious Protector SPF35 PA+++ has been around since 2015. I take the longevity to mean it's special somehow and so I picked one up to try along with the two Lush Pellucid Lipsticks.

Three Lush Pellucid Lipstick

These Three Lush Pellucid Lipstick were limited edition releases in the summer of 2019 and made quite a splash with lots of promotion and marketing. There were three colors available, but I skipped X01 Rainbow Warrior because it was a bright pink, and only got X02 Sunkissable and X03 Flower of Romance. Good thing too I jumped on them too, because X02 sold out in a flash and has been super elusive since.

Three Mesmerizing Performance Eyeliner Pencil Swatches

After swatching the 2016 winter LE Addiction The Eyeshadows, I also popped over to the Three counter to check out the full lineup of Mesmerizing Performance Eyeliner Pencils. I'd already swatched the first three LE colors, so I didn't touch them again.

Three Mesmerizing Performance Eyeliner Pencil Limited Edition Color Swatches

Went out to Ginza Mitsukoshi last Friday to check out the three limited edition releases of Three Mesmerizing Performance Eyeliner Pencil, the new incarnation of the just-discontinued Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencils.   

The LE colors are 01 MJ:We Love You, 02 AW:Sense of Selfie, and 03 JMB:Samo.

Three Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencil Part II

So I've just been informed that Three is discontinuing all 8 of these Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencils, which means I've got to push this review for 02 Eye Believe out the door and then hurrying on to grab my backups before they're gone forever (they'll be pulled from the counters after August 9). Why?!? I just can't even... O.o

Three Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencil

Finally, finally, finally got around to using my Three Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencils. The thing is, I've already swatched them with the store's indoor lighting and did all the ooohs and ahhhs. I even described their colors and whatnot, so this post is pretty much to confirm the obvious that these eyeliners are awesome and I love them.

J. and I have been eyeing Three's counter at the Mitsukoshi Ginza, but over the holidays there was always a crowd hovering by it. So we waited to go on a random weeknight and got the space all to ourselves (yup, I got myself a partner in crime, and we're each other's worst enablers...). She was looking for an eyeliner and started playing with Three Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencil. I wasn't looking but figured why not swatch them for the blog too?

Well, BIG mistake. Because by the end of the session, J. went home with two, and I want all of them. Fine, all with the exception of the last color 08 Eye On. Granted I didn't bite the bullet right that night, but my defense won't last much longer. I promised myself I'd wait until next month. Even then, I promised myself I wouldn't get all of them all at once. Three has slayed me, folks. No, slaughtered.

These. Are. Gorgeous. Unbelievably so. And complex with multi-dimensional and multi-colored shimmers. Oh, and while at it they glided on like butter. Buttah!!! I died. DIED.
