This Three Lip Conscious Protector SPF35 PA+++ has been around since 2015. I take the longevity to mean it's special somehow and so I picked one up to try along with the two Lush Pellucid Lipsticks.

Interesting. This packaging is also aluminum, thin, light, and cool to the touch. This means Three has had this packaging for a long time! The Lip Conscious Protector (what a goofy name! ^.^) tube is also square, only much slimmer and less bulky than the Lush Pellucid Lipsticks. And it's a deep frosted metallic bronze, which I think is nicer than dark charcoal.
The Lip Conscious Protector has a very balmy and moisturizing formula. It does have a color too, an apricot with slight white base, probably due to the sunscreen (zinc oxide 酸化亜鉛
and titanium dioxide 酸化チタン). Thankfully, the white base does adapt and this wears like a nude lipstick with sun protection. I love the formula but don't love the color, so I won't repurchase.
