RMK Refreshing Gel

Hubby's almost done with this 60g/2.1oz. jar of RMK Refreshing Gel so here's the post before it's forgotten in the draft folder again. It's too bad this product has been discontinued because it's actually pretty decent, at least by hubby's standard :)

 

Hubby's always had a preference for lighter moisturizers in gel or gel-cream texture, especially the all-in-one gels that have been all the rage these past several years. This Refreshing Gel isn't all-in-one, but it might as well be with him using it all over his face, eye area, and neck. He even uses it to layer on top of his aftershave, to seal it all in. He likes the light gel texture that spreads well and absorbs quickly, and it's just enough moisturizing for his normal skin. Lucky him, because I tried it once and thought, ehhh, this won't be enough for my dry skin even in the summer :( Finally, the gel has a fresh but mild unisex scent, so nothing too strong, too feminine or otherwise. Really decent product overall, which just boggles my mind that it's been discontinued. I'm not surprised, because this is just how the Japanese cosmetics makers operate, but I'm frustrated all the same because I would totally totally repurchase this for hubby to use until he says he's sick of it.
