RMK Refreshing Gel

Hubby's almost done with this 60g/2.1oz. jar of RMK Refreshing Gel so here's the post before it's forgotten in the draft folder again. It's too bad this product has been discontinued because it's actually pretty decent, at least by hubby's standard :)

RMK Cleansing Balm

Just finished this 100g jar of RMK Cleansing Balm yesterday! Woot! There's also a Moist version that I'm saving for the winter so I'll review that one later. Either way, both of these balms have been discontinued and replaced with a new Cleansing Balm Refresh and Cleansing Balm Rich, which I'll admit I'm pretty tempted to try as well given how much I like this version.

RMK Eye Balm

This 12.5g/0.43oz. jar of RMK Eye Balm was among the several RMK items I purchased from Selfridges UK before they stopped carrying the brand. Since finishing Sulwhasoo TimeTreasure Renovating Eye Cream EX, I needed a more intense eye treatment for my nighttime routine and picked out this RMK jar as well as Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Eye Balm (will post next).  

RMK x Taro Horiuchi FFFuture Cheek Stick

Along with RMK Powder Eyebrow N 01, I also picked up this RMK x Taro Horiuchi FFFuture Cheek Stick in TH-02 Future Red.

RMK Powder Eyebrow N

After another four years of using Addiction Pressed Duo Eyebrow and still only made a tiny dent the size of the brow-brush tip, I got bored and branched out yet again with this RMK Powder Eyebrow N 01 ^.^" 

I picked it up along with a few other RMK items in the winter of 2018, after learning Selfridges UK was clearing out RMK inventory (the brand is now available through LookFantastic instead). Anyway, I've been using this for months now so I guess it's time for a post.

RMK Ingenious Powder Eyes N Part IV

Just a quick update for some RMK Ingenious Powder Eyes N comparisons between EX-19 Romantic Beige Pink, EX-22 Chocolate Mauve, and 23 Red Brown below.

See how 23 Red Brown has that lovely wet metallic sheen in comparison to the other two?

I have a few other RMK items I still haven't gotten around to photograph (brow powder, cheek stick, etc.), but this Ingenious Powder Eyes N in 23 Red Brown was a 2017 summer release that Selfridges UK never picked up, which meant I had to hunt it down personally (thank you, Rakuten JP!).

RMK Color Pop Lipstick

Last year, another collection that drew my interest was RMK's spring-summer Color Dance Collection, mainly because there were dots. Dotted prints on the packaging, and dots pressed into the eye shadows, powder blushes, and lipsticks. Too bad I didn't like any of the eye shadow duos. Within these past few years, I've been using cream/gel cheek colors almost exclusively. But the lipsticks? Sold. I love dots ^.^

The Color Pop Lipsticks were available in four colors. The first two,  01 Turn the Music and 02 Glamorous Blonde, were much sheerer. The latter two, 03 Cocktail Party and 04 Happy Mind, were better pigmented but still looked translucent enough, so I went with those two.

RMK The Basic4eyes

In the fall of 2018, RMK released a limited edition Moon Bloom Coloring Eyes collection that was quite attractive. I was especially taken with 02 Night Shadow, an olive-green palette, and 03 Garden Dream, a pink-coral. However, being LE they were sold out quickly, especially 03 Garden Dream that looked so pretty and feminine. I was disappointed to be so late into the game and missed out (and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg to get one from E(vil)bay and Amazon).

Then came this past spring and a new The Basic4eyes collection came out and, what do you know, these palettes looked uncannily similar to the Moon Blooms. Upon comparing them two, I realized the Basics4eyes were in fact re-releases of the 4 of 6 Moon Bloom palettes. Yes, kind of lame, but I was glad I now own the palettes I wanted: 01 Spring Blossom and 02 Summer Fog. In fact, I ended up liking them so much I went back for yet a third despite the cream pan I probably won't touch, 03 Autumn Night (will review this later).

Moon Bloom 03 Garden Dream is now The Basic4eyes 01 Spring Blossom.
