Ettusais Lip Essence SPF18 PA++ Part II

Four years after I reviewed Ettusais Lip Essence SPF18+ PA++ Deep Moist, I finally got around to posting about the Regular version in the same 10g tube despite having it in my bag this whole time. Below are the "regular" Regular version and an older LE Pink Cherry "Color" Regular version ^.^

Wow, it only took me 2 years to get to this post! I don't remember how I stumbled onto this Ettusais Lip Color Tint Type--maybe Julia told me about it? Anyway, I tried this one color 01 Red and was so impressed I went ahead and got a few more colors too. And of course it's been discontinued at least a year now =.=

Ettusais Lip Essence SPF18 PA++

Read a review for this 10g tube of Ettusais Lip Essence SPF18 PA++ from Citrine a long time ago and had to try it myself. There are actually 2 versions, a "regular" version in a pale pink tube and this Deep Moist version in a medium pink tube. I have both but is reviewing the Deep Moist version first.

Ettusais Lip & Cheek Crayon

These Ettusais Lip & Cheek Crayons in PK and RD were part of an impulse purchase I made last year, with the other part being the Lip Essence Color in RD. Admittedly, these crayons are much, much better than the Lip Essence, but over the years I found Ettusais products to be more on the gimmicky side so I've decided to quit the brand.

This Ettusais purchase was very much an impulsive buy and while all three products are usable, frankly I could do without them and be $50 richer =.=

I'm posting about Lip Essence Color SPF18 PA++ in the LE silver packaging and color RD, but next time I won't bother because it's exactly the same as the previous one.

Ettusais Medicated Skin Version Up Essence

Here's me being totally silly with this 85mL/2.8fl. oz. refill of Ettusais Medicated Skin Version Up Essence. Back in the fall of 2016, when I bought the Lip Essence Stick Color SPF18 PA++ I wanted a cart filler and was curious to try a skincare item. But I didn't want their whitening things or the one mister they had. So out of all the options they offered I had to pick a medicated facial treatment that's meant for acne-proned skin, even though I don't have acne-prone skin and already have several serums queued up at the time. Urgh. What was I thinking (I wasn't...)?

Hubby and I are going to move again in eight months' time, this time just across town, at least that's to my knowledge. We've learned to *not* double down on our words because every time we say we're staying somewhere for a while, we ended up moving the next year.

After moving so many time, I've realized I've missed out on the vast majority of my collection because I can only take so much with me. Since I haven't been around to enjoy them, I thought someone else might be.

Ettusais Lip Essence (Stick) Color SPF18 PA++

Around November I saw this Ettusais Lip Essence (Stick) Color SPF18 PA++ in Tinted Red featured on Cosme. Since I love DHC Medicated Lip Cream, I was curious to know how this Ettusais version would compare. So I picked up two LE release with Winnie the Pooh on the packaging and an 85mL refill pouch of Skin Version Up Essence, which I'll review later.

Za Plumper Lips

A few months ago I was browsing Ettusais and noticed they linked to the Za Cosmetics website had a "final sale" note in bold red. Turns out Za is an Ettusais sister brand, and turns out Za is also being discontinued :(

I've seen Za aplenty while I was in Taipei so my understanding is that it's available outside of Japan while Ettusais is harder to get a hold of. Anyway, I clicked over to browse Za's website only to find everything on 50% off final sale, including the whole range of these gorgeous Plumper Lips. These lipsticks normally goes for 900yen each, so with 50% markdown they were 450yen each. From my previous Ettusais order, I also earned some points, and in all I paid about 385yen each, which translates to about $3.10 a piece with the current exchange rates. Scored! ^.^

In all, I received 8 lipsticks: OR1, OR2, PK2, PK3, PK4, RD1, RD2, and RS1, as PK1 was sold out and cancelled from my order. Shucks. I skipped BE1 because, well, it looks brown...

Ettusais Heart Cheek Color

Last of this Ettusais purchase are these Heart Cheek Colors in AP (Apricot) and PK (Pink). I mean, how can anyone resist these cuties?

Ettusais Rose Cheek Color

Here's the Ettusais Rose Cheek Color in RD that was released spring of 2014. While looking through Ettusais's website I was surprised to find that this blush was still available, so I bought it along with the new Heart Face Color and Heart Cheek Colors (will review next).

Ettusais Heart Face Color

After my Ettusais Cheek Colors way back in 2012, I stopped paying attention to the brand, until this past March when I was surfing Rakuten JP and spotted a listing for this Heart Face Color. I don't need any more highlighters but both the powder and the compact were too cute to resist, so I headed over to Ettusais' website for a closer look. There, I found they also have two adorable Heart Cheek Colors as well as the Rose Cheek Color released last spring (will review next), so I picked up all four ^.^

Ettusais Cheek Color

Speaking of Plaza, I was there a few weeks ago looking for the newest addition to the Kiss Kiss My Eyes Glamorize Shadow line, palette 06 Pink Beige PK-2. Well, it wasn't out yet, but let's just say my trip wasn't wasted because I saw these adorable Ettusais Cheek Color on display and came home with them instead ^.^

These are my very first Ettusais blushes. I've seen their others blushes, but they all look kind of blah and they cost a little more than what I'd be willing to pay for a blah blush, 1,680yen each, so I never look their way. That is, until these Cheek Colors came along. They are the same price, yes, also I do think their packaging is kind of bulky being in a jar-like container, but I just couldn't resist the adorable heart swirls that reminds me of the cappuccino foam art. So yeah, I splurged a little ^.^ Thank goodness there were only 2 colors available, Orange and Pink, because I probably wouldn't be able to justify buying more of these, not even to myself.
