Nest Fragrances Hand Cream

These 133mL/4.5fl. oz. aluminum tubes of Nest Fragrances Hand Cream in Black Tulip, Citrine, and Wisteria Blue were impulse buys, and I ended up trying just one tube (Black Tulip) for just a few times before passing all three of them on to my mom.

Honestly, I should have known better. Nest has never had a reputation for being mild or delicate so what did I expect when Black Tulip beat me over the head with a baseball bat? The hand cream formula was actually lovely. Light but not too thin or runny, and was decently moisturizing. But the fragrance, good lord, it was way, way, way too strong and lasted a looong time, which should have been a good thing but in this case it became a double-edge sword. After the first use, all three tubes were banished to my desk but even then, I couldn't stand it and they all went to my mom instead, who loves packing scented hand creams for her cruises.

- Black Tulip: a fruity floral scent with a warm amber bottom note. nice fragrance, just way too strong. Urgh.

- Citrine: I didn't bother trying this and just passed it on.

- Wisteria Blue: same, didn't try this and just passed it on.
