Made it through 3/4 of this 15mL/0.5oz. jar of Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Eye Cream. The jar was from a Jurlique Herbal Recovery Set I bought last year, and with that purchase I also got a gift that includes another 5mL/0.17oz. tube of the same eye cream.
To my own surprise, this eye cream is the first product in Jurlique's Herbal Recovery line that I don't love. I mean, it's ok, not bad, but it's not great either. Totally unexpected, especially when I absolutely love this line of skincare from Jurlique and have repurchased different products a few times: Signature Mist (3 bottles!), Moisturizing Cream (loved it, and my mom likes it too!), and Moisturizing Lotion (2 bottles!).
So what is it that I don't love about this eye cream? Well, I do love the scent, but for this cream it's so mild I don't even notice it. Yes, believe it or not I'm actually wishing the scent would be stronger and more noticeable for this product. The cream itself is very thin. It's way thinner than the Moisturizing Lotion (which I use like a milk/emulsion), so to me this isn't really an eye cream but more like an eye "milk." Sure, I've used other thin eye "creams" before and didn't have any problem with them because they're actually moisturizing despite the thinner texture. Not so with this eye "cream." It's not moisturizing enough when I use less, but when I use more it pills up and rubs right off. Very frustrating. Will not repurchase.
