Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Moisturizing Lotion

I'm on the second 50mL/1.7fl. pump bottle of this Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Moisturizing Lotion now. They call it a lotion which makes it sounds like it can be used alone as a moisturizer, and it could work as a standalone moisturizer if you have normal skin. Not so for my dry-combo skin, and I've been using it like a milk/emulsion which I layer on after toner, the Signature Mist in the same Herbal Recovery line (just finished my third bottle of that as well!),

Over the years, Jurlique has really grown on me, especially this Herbal Recovery line that went through a packaging revamp and reformulation several years back, after the Japanese brand Pola acquired the company. I've used Herbal Recovery products before, way back in 2012-2014, and they didn't leave much of an impression on me then. After the revamp though, they shot right up to the top of my-favorites list, much so that I've repurchased the Mist, this Lotion, the Serum (will post next), the Eye Cream (will post next), and the Moisturizing Cream a few times.

As the name suggests, this is a lotion, as in a light moisturizer and not a toner (in Japan, toners are called lotion too). I use this as part of my morning routine after toning, and I dispense 3-4 pumps each time, depending on how dry my skin feels on that particular morning. This lotion feels lovely on, and it leaves my skin velvety. It smells lovely too, and I'm definitely reusing the pretty pump bottles for other milk refills. When Jurlique runs a good sale next, I'll be sure to repurchase.
