Three Balancing Cleansing Oil Gel

Hubby and I took our boys to Japan for the month of June, and among the few toiletries I brought was this 28g travel sized tube of Three Balancing Cleansing Oil Gel from a Skincare Ritual Kit I bought a while ago. 

Of course, by the time I got to Japan and went to my old haunt, the cosmetics floor in the basement of the Ginza Mitsukoshi, this Oil Gel was already discontinued, replaced by a Balancing Cleansing Balm 90g and an Aiming Soft Cleansing Oil Gel 85g. I bought both to try. Will post about them later.

 

Neutrogena Cleansing Balm

This tiny 74g/2.6oz. jar of Neutrogena Cleansing Balm lasted me less than 3 weeks, so unless it's on super sale, the small size actually makes it more expensive. 

Clarins Total Cleansing Oil

Holy moly it's almost mid August already! Where did all the time go?

My last oil cleanser post was earlier in the year, late January I think, and since then I've used up quite a few more and have been taking notes along the way for each post. What I didn't keep track of was the order in which I used them. Woops. So I'll just pick one to start, this 150mL/5fl. oz. pump bottle of Clarins Total Cleansing Oil. 

 

Alverde Naturkosmetik Tinted Lip Balm

This Alverde Naturkosmetik Tinted Lip Balm was part of a giant care package Julia sent me a few years ago (thank you, Julia!). And no, it didn't take me this long to get to the tinted lip balm. More like it took me this long to post this post ^.^" The tinted lip balm was long gone. Ha.

Clarins Instant Eye Make-Up Remover

A while back, I finished this 30mL/1fl. oz. travel size Clarins Instant Eye Make-Up Remover from Day 5 of a Clarins Advent Calendar purchased a few years ago. 

Sea Breeze Smooth Hand Gelato

On a whim, I picked up these two tiny 18g tins of Sea Breeze Smooth Hand Gelato via Amazon JP for my gym bag. There were two scents available, Botanical Sweet and Pink Grapefruit, and I got both.

NARS Afterglow Lip Balm

This NARS Sur La Plage Lip Balm Set was a cart filler for a Nordstrom order a couple of years back. I guess I'd been curious about these for a while so that was a good opportunity to try out something new. The set came with three colors: the signature Orgasm, and Baja and Marbella.

Over the years I've used and posted about quite a few Shower Gels from L'Occitane, and instead of having those posts scattered about, I thought I'd gather them all into one post here.

Bonne Mere Peach Shower Gel 

Finally used up the tube of Biotherm Lait de Douche Cleansing Shower Milk and happily moved on to this 300mL/10.1fl. oz. bottle of L'Occitane Bonne Mere Peach Shower Gel.

 

This shower gel is slightly stronger scented than the Peach Bonne Mere Soap (will post a bulk soap review later). Actually, make that really strong. However, it's a nice scent, kind of tropical fruity with a flowery bent and nothing reminiscent of peach. I actually like the scent ^.^

Molton Brown Moisture Rich Shaving Soap

Hubby is almost finished with this 100g/3.5oz. bar of Molton Brown Moisture Rich Shaving Soap so here's a quick post for it. 

 

 

 

Thann Aromatic Wood Body Wash

Oops. This post got pushed to the very bottom of my draft folder and forgotten for years :( Oh well, better late than never.

This 37mL/1.25fl. oz. travel sized bottle of Thann Aromatic Wood Body Wash was among the set of toiletries hubby and I received from a Marriott stay (I think) in NC, where hubby had a work conference. 

 

I really loved this Aromatic Wood scent, but mostly in the bar soap. The Body Wash smelled lovely as well, and the formula wasn't too harsh, but if I had to pay top bucks, I'd rather stock up on the bar soap because the lather was so creamy and fragrant. This Body Wash was decent, but didn't leave as big an impression on me as the soap. Glad I got to try this, but I won't be buying a full size anytime soon.
