Hands down this 100g squeeze-tube of Tonoike Shuzou Hakumai Ferment Sake Kasu Face Wash is the most unique face wash hubby and I have ever tried--and enjoyed quite a bit too! It's also long-discontinued which is really too bad. I can't it anywhere, not even on e(vil)Bay T.T Boo. Hiss!
This face wash came in such odd packaging: a wide and flat clear plastic squeeze-tube. It looked like a paste in the tube and it dispensed a dense paste too! And then that paste went on to "lather" pretty well, yet the foam was strangely minimal, more like micro-foam. It cleansed well
and rinsed well but was rather mild. The scent was a spicy herbal, which
kind of reminded me of the old Noxzema. So yeah, both hubby and I were pretty impressed with this product, and if they ever make it again, I will definitely stock up several tubes.
