Korres Mango Butter Lipstick SPF10

After the decently textured lip gloss but stupidly named Pocket Rocket (urgh), I moved on to the Korres Mango Butter Lipstick SPF10 from the same Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip set.

I really don't need another excuse to buy more lipsticks, and plus I'm only to lukewarm to these Korres Mango Butter Lipsticks :P The name mango lipstick probably makes you think these lipsticks are super thick and creamy and moisturizing, somewhere along the line of the amazing Clinique Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipsticks. In reality they're only 2 out of those 3, being thin and not creamy, but are only somewhat moisturizing. And when I say thin, I mean they sort of feel like my favorite Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Glossy Shine Sticks, but minus the glossy shine as well as the leftover stain. So if anything, I feel these Mango Butter Lipsticks are sort of half-assedly formulated and there's lot of room for improvement.

This particular color I got is 14 Pink, and perhaps it is the lipstick's only redemption. It's a rather pretty cool blue-based juicy and translucent strawberry pink that's pretty hot when layered. It has very fine shimmers that don't really show up at all, and the color's decently potent so I would probably not wear this out in more than one very thin layer over gloss or chapstick.
