Momopuri Lotion

Been using both the Momopuri Lotion and Lotion Concentrated and enjoying them very much! I bought the 180mL refill packages and just pour them into an empty glass toner bottle.

Okay, before trying these, I was wondering what's with all the fuss and why is this skincare line so popular. And then I poured some lotion into my palm and it dawned upon me: this stuff smells heavenly, like biting into a ripe Palisade peach, good enough to eat (but please don't ^.^")! Wow. While many skincare products out there are scented, few of those I actually enjoy, let alone love. This is one of them. The scent is so fresh and juice it just doesn't get old at all. I want to bathe myself in this stuff! In fact, I love the scent so much I busted out all the other Momopuri items too. Will post on them next.

- Lotion: decently moisturizing and probably better for summer use.

- Lotion Concentrated: more moisturizing but not at all sticky like most other enriched lotions. I'm using this now that it's much colder and drier, but honestly I would use this year-round.

I love peaches (as you know lol), so I've been super curious about this, but since I have somewhat sensitive skin, I'm using mostly unscented "boring" products like Hada Labo, Ihada, Bioderma etc.
There's a Momori (different brand, I think) hair line that I've been meaning to try, maybe the milk since I have very fine hair. Scented hair products are much easier to use for me, although I hate when I like a product, but it comes with a strong scent, especially one that I don't like (looking at you, highly praised Garnier Fructis heat protecting oil lol)

Hi Julia,

I dislike strongly-scented product as well, especially in skincare. So far, the vast majority of the strong-scented stuff I've encountered have been mostly made in Europe stuff (France and Italy), even stuff meant for babies and kids, which to me is hard to believe.

I wish Momopuri would offer trial sets for you to test-drive their stuff, like DHC and FANCL, or Aqualabel even. This way, you don't have to commit to huge full sizes when your skin might or might not react well to the stuff. Would you want me to send you a sample bottle of the Momopuri Lotion Rich or Milk?
