More than half way through this 100mL/3.38fl. oz. spray bottle of By Terry Baume de Rose All-Over Oil Face Body Hair so here's a post for it. This is a multi-purpose oil for face, body, and hair, but I use it mainly as a body oil. Only once I'm done apply this all over my arms and legs, then I run my hands through my hair to use up whatever that's left.
This is a very light oil. It's not at all heavy or greasy, and once I massage it in, I don't feel any residue at all, just soft and silky skin. That said, it is an oil and does need to be massaged into the skin. I can't just spray it on, spread it out, and be done with it like a quick-absorbing body lotion. Which is why it's been taken me and hubby--yes he uses this too!--sooo long just to get through half of this bottle, more a year I think! So on nights when I'm short on time, I slap on body lotion. Only when I have more time do I indulge my skin with this oil.
Why do I call it indulging? Because this stuff smells like heaven! Believe it or not, I like this rose scent, a lot! Yes, its top note is floral, and rose at that, but it's mild and not cloying. The middle note is sweet. But I think it's the creamy, powdery base note that wins me over, because it lasts for days! I would apply this on Monday night, and by Wednesday night I still smell it on my pj's, until I change them. This oil smells so nice even hubby likes it, enough said.
I think By Terry has discontinued this whole Baume de Rose line though :( I would have totally repurchase this oil, even if it take me and hubby years to use up a bottle.
