Brush Comparisons

...for a few of my brushes, just to see how the different sizes compare ^.^ There are a few others but I'm saving them for the next post in this comparison series. Also, I'm sticking within the same brand for now and will do cross-brand comparisons later.

Keep in mind that despite these comparisons, each brush is handmade, and therefore yours may differ a little (or a lot, as in the case of Chikuhodo G-03 below) with mine.

In late 2013, on an impulse I bought this Tarte Sheer Passion Maracuja Hydrating Cheek Tint in the color Amused. Since then, it'd been sitting in my drawer untouched. I guess it's time to give it a chance? Sigh...

Etude House Dear Darling Tint AD

Among the Korean lip tint market, Etude House Dear Darling Tint AD is another popular pick. I've read great things about these so I picked them up to compare with my current title holder TonyMoly Delight Tony Tint, considering they have the same price, $3 each! There are 4 colors available, 1 Berry Red, 2 Real Red, 3 Orange Red, and 4 Vampire Red.

Innisfree Eco Fruit Tint

Here's another popular lip tint, the Innisfree Eco Fruit Tint. These only came in 2 colors, 1 Cherry and 2 Orange. I paid about $4 each before shipping.

It's hard to believe this little tube contains 9mL of product, the same amount as TonyMoly Delight Tony Tint in a gigantic tube! I kept checking both official brand pages to make sure I didn't get the wrong info. Nope, they both have the same product volume, so I'm officially mystified why is one so much bigger than the other. Is it just an illusion due to TonyMoly's oddly shaped tube?

It's Skin Babyface Powder in Cream Blusher

I spotted these It's Skin Babyface Powder in Cream Blusher last month and was excited to try them. There were three colors, 01 Strawberry Cream, 02 Coral Cream, and 03 Apricot Cream.

Koyudo Brushes Part VI

Yes, more Koyudo brushes ^.^ These are some of the brushes I bought right before the price increase took place. The prices listed below are new prices, so I feel like a bandit having made off with a loot xD Anyway, after taking these pictures they all went into my summer wash (right picture), which included all brushes purchased before July 2014.

Lunasol Vivid Clear Eyes

After the detour that was Lunasol Three-Dimensional Eyes, I was back on the prowl for Maquillage True Eyeshadows, and was promptly derailed again -.-" Guess who done it? Yep, Lunasol. Again. This time with Vivid Clear Eyes.

I mean, can you blame me? Not only these quints look similar, I would actually get a lot more color from Lunasol, a full pan each for the medium and liner shades, and a split pan for the lid and accent shades. Whereas with Maquillage, there are two pans of highlighter and sparkling top wash, a smaller pan of lid shade, and a split pan of medium crease and liner shades. Sold.

Lunasol Vivid Clear Eyes released spring 2013 versus Maquillage True Eyeshadows released summer of the same year. Looks like someone's a copycat :P

Ettusais Heart Cheek Color

Last of this Ettusais purchase are these Heart Cheek Colors in AP (Apricot) and PK (Pink). I mean, how can anyone resist these cuties?
