Here are two 30g jars of Mamisango Maiko-san Moisture Cream in two varieties: Komenuka (pink) and Matcha (green) that I finished long ago. These were facial creams that, like the Maiko-san Sakura Cream, were soon "demoted" as I didn't love them.
While the Sakura Cream were demoted because it was so thin and light, these were demoted for completely opposite reason: they were too thick and greasy. Actually, "didn't love" is an understatement--I disliked them enough to demote them not once but twice, first from face creams to hand creams, and again from hand creams to foot creams. They were so thick and greasy I couldn't stand them even on my hands,
let alone my face!
Despite being "different" varieties, I coulnd't tell any difference at all between the two creams. On my skin, they felt identically icky. The
Komenuka smelled like generic cream, and the Matcha had a faint whiff of
tea, but otherwise also smelled like generic cream. Now, the unexpected upside was that because they were so thick and greasy, they
were good for my alligator feet. In fact, they kept my feet nice and
soft for the few weeks while they lasted, so at least I could use them. But I definitely won't repurchase. Don't recommend these either, unless you like super thick and greasy creams.
