Mamisango Maiko-san Sakura Cream

Like Kyoto Kurochiku, KyoMaiko is one of those niche Kyoto-based brands that's geared towards touristy gift shops and sells sometimes gimmicky products like tiny little 5g jars of hand cream (guess who fell for it anyway? :P), small and flimsy reusable bags (guess who bought those too? =.=), meh supposedly facial creams (and bought these T.T), and smaller-than-credit-card packets of paper soaps for travel purposes (and totally obsessed with these, ha!). Yep, I'm guilty through and through. Hence this post for the 60g jar of Mamisango Maiko-san Sakura Cream, Mamisango being a sub-brand under KyoMaiko.

I expected this and so wasn't at all surprised to find this cream to be very thin and light, way too thin and light to be of any use for my face. Yes, this was demoted to hand-cream status, and even then, it was limited to summer use. It could be used all over the body, but again, too light and inadequate for my dry skin all over. There was a very faint sakura fragrance I mostly smelled a lemony tart scent.
