Etvos Mineral UV Powder SPF50 PA++++

This 5g jar of Etvos Mineral UV Powder SPF50 PA++++ is the last of my recent sunscreen powder acquisitions along with Heim UV Mineral Powder and Koh Gen Do UV Face Powder. After a several jars of Panna Kiss Powder, Higasunne UV Cut Face Powder (no longer available and I just finished my last jar too, boo, hiss), Privacy UV Face Powder, and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to finish the gigantic jar of Beauty Protector Finishing Powder, I simply got bored and wanted to try something new.

Heim UV Mineral Powder SPF50+ PA++++

You know what's funny? I'm so used to Japanese-style double and triple packaging that when I received this 6g jar of Heim UV Mineral Powder SPF50+ PA++++ in simple cellophane packaging with just a paper insert, I started to wonder if this powder I bought via Rakuten JP was legit ^.^"

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Silky Cream

I have four 5mL sample tubes of this Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Silky Cream that I emptied into a glass jar and have been using for a couple of weeks now, nights and mornings. This is the current incarnation of the HydraQuench Cream for normal to dry skin, versus the Rich Cream version I reviewed last month for dry skin.

Face Stockholm Lip Care

Last winter, I bought some Face Stockholm lipsticks, specifically those from the No. 35 Lipstick Collection. That order went a little wonky but FS customer service was gracious and helpful and it ended well, even if I had to return the whole thing and reordered. Here's the Lip Care Treatment that's been in my bag for the past month.

Suqqu Extra Glow Lipstick Part VI

Had a moment the other day when it was well-lit and sunny outside, so I went back to take some comparison photos for the below new additions of Suqqu Extra Glow Lipsticks.

Here are 03 粋桃 (Suitou) Aquatic Pink, 04 彩珊瑚 (Ayasango) Bright Coral, 05 冴杏 (Saeanzu) Orange Red, 12 百合橙 (Yuridaidai) Sunny Orange, 103 艶赤 (Tsuyaaka) Juicy Coral, and 105 浜橙 (Hamadaidai) Orange. It's clear 03 and 04 both lean too red so I took them out and zoomed in to the latter four colors.

There, much better with just 05 冴杏 (Saeanzu) Orange Red, 12 百合橙 (Yuridaidai) Sunny Orange, 103 艶赤 (Tsuyaaka) Juicy Coral, and 105 浜橙 (Hamadaidai) Orange.

Here are 09 宵果実 (Yoikajitsu) Deep Midnight Berry, 104 艶柘榴 (Tsuyazakuro) Pink, 106 紅優莉 (Benisuguri) Deep Raspberry, and 107 宵葡萄 (Yoibudou) Deep Burgundy. Looks like 106 has the most red and 107 is the most purple.

Over the holidays, Suqqu released a UK exclusive Christmas collection with three LE Designing Color Eyes and three Extra Glow Lipsticks. Of the three eye palettes only one caught my eyes--guess which! ^.^ Whereas with the lipsticks I was initially lemming all three but ended up going with two.

Below I have 103 艶赤 (Tsuyaaka) Juicy Coral (I think this is the English name, please correct me if I'm wrong), the Shinjuku Isetan exclusive along with an eye palette that I skipped (see below), and 106 紅優莉 (Benisuguri) Deep Raspberry Red and 107 宵葡萄 (Yoibudou) Deep Burgundy from the above mentioned UK exclusive collection. Given that they're UK exclusives, I expect them to be pigmented than the permanent lineup, which makes it even more unlikely that I'll reach for a pigmented brown-beige color, so I decided to pass on 108 甘薔薇 (Amasoubi).

Canmake Cream Cheek Part VII + Clear Series

I added a couple more Canmake Cream Cheeks to my collection recently: 15 Antique Milk Rose from the regular lineup and CL09 Clear Raspberry Gelato from the Clear Series.

Suqqu Moisture Rich Lipstick Part II

I feel like a total dumba$$. After having b*tched about Suqqu's newest Moisture Rich Lipsticks being housed in hideous tubes, I went and bought four more colors, because the formula is just that good. Urgh.

This time, I got 02 花紅 (Hanakurenai) Lotus Pink, 03 陽紅 (Hibeni) Coral Peach, 04 金杏 (Kinanzu) Blissful Coral, and 05 恍華 (Hikaribana) Carnation Pink. I skipped 01 夕奏 (Yuukanade) Fresh Beige and 06 鮮絢華 (Sensenka) Fuchsia Pink because, well, they're beige and fuchsia, not the colors I reach for. It's too bad because I'd really like all the colors that are shimmer-free and 06 is shimmer free. Oh well.

Koh Gen Do UV Face Powder SPF50+ PA++++

I never took any interest in Koh Gen Do before because they specialize in base makeup and I don't wear any base makeup. The only time I have for is sunscreen powder which I use to set my sunscreen. Last summer though, pictures of their UV Face Powder SPF50+ PA++++ popped up on my Insta feed and that got me curious.

Upon further looking on the brand's website, I found the sunscreen powder came in two colors, a matte Soft Beige and a luminous Baby Pink. Even better, these came in two sizes too, a large 10g and a smaller 4g for sampling, so I went with a 10g of Soft Beige and a 4g of Baby Pink.

Kiehl's Creme de Corps

I was so glad to be done with Kiehl's Creme de Corps Grapefruit Whipped Body Butter, and not just because it was in a giant tub. As the weather got warmer, it got thicker and sticker to a point I loathed applying it, so I definitely won't repurchase this in any other scent.

Then I went onto to this 500mL/16.9fl. oz. pump bottle of the original Creme de Corps, also in LE Disney packaging. Been using it for a month now and like it much better than the whipped version for sure.

Face Stockholm Lipstick Part IV

Last winter, Face Stockholm celebrated their 35 years anniversary with a No. 35 Lipstick Collection. While at it, they also held a 35% off site-wide promotion, which I made good use of and picked up five colors from this collection to try: Atra, Glod, Lattsam, Om, and Velvet. I also got one more Lipstick Veil and another Lip Care Treatment. Will get to these later.

Initially, I wanted to hoard more of their fabulous Creme Blush. However, in the past few years they'd updated the formula--and changed all the blush names along with it. There used to be a list of old versus new blush names on their website but it's since been taken off. So I went for the lipsticks instead as I didn't want to order blush duplicates and deal with the hassle of returning stuff...

...And then I ended up returning all five of the lipsticks anyway. Yes, all five. But there's a good story to go with it so I decided to write this post and at least show you the swatches.
