Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Eye Balm

In addition to RMK Eye Balm, I'm also using this 15mL/0.5fl. oz. Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Eye Balm. Some time last summer, I got curious with this Australian brand and picked up several items from their Hydra-Repair line, including this Eye Balm. So when I started using the RMK Eye Balm and wanted a second choice for comparison, I went straight to this GA one even though it was much farther down the queue.

This 12.5g/0.43oz. jar of RMK Eye Balm was among the several RMK items I purchased from Selfridges UK before they stopped carrying the brand. Since finishing Sulwhasoo TimeTreasure Renovating Eye Cream EX, I needed a more intense eye treatment for my nighttime routine and picked out this RMK jar as well as Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Eye Balm (will post next).  

Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm Bare Glow

Here's more to add to my on-going saga with sunscreen versus winter dry skin. 

 

Since the fall, I started layering Paul & Joe Pearl Foundation Primer over my daytime moisturizer and under sunscreen, until the weather got too cold and too dry, and these primers were no longer enough. So I tried Paul & Joe La Tout Eclat Moisturizing Foundation Primer L next, and while it was moisturizing indeed, it was also completely opaque with full coverage, which was not at all what I wanted. 

And recently I've been trying this 30mL/1fl. oz. pump bottle of Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm Bare Glow. This bottle was part of the Bobbi Brown Cleanse & Care Extra Skincare Set I bought over the past holidays.

Shiro Essence Lip Butter

Bought along with Shiro Essence Lip Oil is this Essence Lip Butter in 9C01 which is a wacky way of saying there's really no color. This Lip Butter is recently made available via Shiro's USA only webstore, so it's available to those who are curious.

Shiro Essence Lip Oil

I've been curious about Shiro products for the longest time, and when I saw that they'd released an Essence Lip Oil with a Yuzu fragrance, I had to get my hands on it! I got mine from Japan when it was released all thanks to Julia's generous help, but a limited range of Shiro products is now available outside of Japan via their US website, including this Essence Lip Oil as well as the Essence Lip Butter (will post next). There's also a flagship store in NYC if you're in the area.

Oops, forgot to post this quick review for the tiny 9mL/0.3fl. oz. sample bottle of Decorte AQ Serum Absolute Firming Lift Contour Serum that I finished a couple of weeks ago. This was from the Decorte Supreme Collection GWP.

Been using this 40mL/1.3fl. oz. tube of Avene Hydrance Rich Hydrating Cream as part of my morning routine and like it a lot. 

Marin Bee Honey Shave

Here's something I rarely post about, if ever: women's shaving cream. But alas, there's got to be a first for everything, so here's a post for this 99.2g/3.5oz. tube of Marin Bee Honey Shave. I received this tube as part of a GWP for a Beauty Habit order a while back, and as with everything else it took me a while to get around to actually using it.

Nivea Men UV Protector SPF50+ PA++++

Here's another great sunscreen find for me in these recent months: this 40mL Nivea Men UV Protector SPF50+ PA++++. Yes, Nivea Men. I know there are reasons companies differentiate men and women's skincare products, but for me there's no difference. Sure, I'm not going to use hubby's facial grooming stuff because I don't have excess facial hair to groom, and sure, he's not going to touch my color makeup because he's not into painting his face, but other than that it's all fair game to us both.
