It's been three years since I last reviewed the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow and a recent drugstore sale got me to pick up 3 new palettes: 05 Give Me Gold, 85 Gutsy Green, and 150 Desert Fantasy.

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion Luminizing Eyeshadow Part II
These Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion Luminizing Eyeshadow in 10 Amethyst Ablazed and 20 Blue Blowout were part of an impulse purchase during a sale ^.^ I've had them for a few months now and my goal is to go through all my back logs (from prior house moves, etc.) before July when my classes start.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion
Been using this 3mL/0.1fl. oz. of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion as daytime eye cream, which I got a while back during winter 2013 (finally reviewed the 2 Lancome Color Design Palettes from that purchase not too long ago...).

Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow
So I'm not sure if I should thank Maquillage or hate them, because since last fall, the True Eyeshadows had scattered my attention and sent me in directions I never expected to go, first with Lunasol Three-Dimensional Eyes and Vivid Clear Eyes, then Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow, thanks to the similar looking split pan.
Starting in the spring of 2012 (I think, top screencap), Suqqu added quints to their usual lineup of quads, though by now only two palettes 10 Kozuecha and 12 Konruri remain on the permanent line (bottom screencap). I think 10 Kozuecha looks interesting (yes, me and my peach, beige, brown thing, boring I know...), but I'm also wary of the bottom right pan, which has a completely matte finish I always do my best to avoid. Then again, the draw of these "blend color" palettes is that every color in the pan can be layered and mixed, so technically that matte color should work.

Victoria's Secret Chic Cheek Cream Blush
These Victoria's Secret Chic Cheek Cream Blush came out the fall of 2013 and I found some on sale right before hubby and I left San Francisco so I snatched them up ^.^ I only saw 2 colors, Mon Amour and Pretty in Paris, so I'm not sure how many other colors there are.

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner Part IV
Another quick post for Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Black Amethyst since it's in a series. It arrived with the box crushed so I just threw it out ^.^

- Black Amethyst: I was really excited about this color thinking it would be a deep shimmery eggplant, something along the lines of Pixi Endless Silky 5-Deep Plum. However, it turns out to be a completely matte deep egg plant without any shimmers at all. It's still very pretty, but as you can see from the swatch (left, with Sparkle Waterproof Sequin at right) without any shimmer to offset the depth it just looks...black. If I sheer it out a bit I can see the eggplant, but that would defeat its purpose as a liner. Ha.

Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner Part II
Snatched up another Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner recently in the color Sequin. This will be a really quick post since I've already reviewed the colors Flash, Rock Candy, Royal, and Starry in detail.

- Sequin: this is a gorgeous sparkling black that makes for some glamorous winged eyes ^.^ The swatch is on the left with Smudge Stick in Black Amethyst on the right (will post next).

SkinFood Fresh Fruit Lip & Cheek Part II
Having collected all 6 colors of the SkinFood Fresh Fruit Lip & Cheek, I was so so so excited when I saw the newest incarnation of these multi-purpose creams. They still come in the same sliding tins, only you get 3 different colors per tin to mix things up and create your own blend. What fantastic idea! There are 4 palettes available, which means a total of 12 different colors to play with! Yay! xD
From top to bottom: 1 Orange, 2 Strawberry, 3 Tomato, and 4 Fig. All pictures taken in natural light without flash.

Brush Comparisons
...for a few of my brushes, just to see how the different sizes compare ^.^ There are a few others but I'm saving them for the next post in this comparison series. Also, I'm sticking within the same brand for now and will do cross-brand comparisons later.
Keep in mind that despite these comparisons, each brush is handmade, and therefore yours may differ a little (or a lot, as in the case of Chikuhodo G-03 below) with mine.
From left to right: Chikuhodo Artist 12-2 Pine Squirrel/Weasel, 12-5 Canadian Squirrel, and 12-6, G-03, and G-04, all Gray Squirrel.
