Picked up this 90mL/2.7fl. oz. of The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter thinking it was a cleansing cream. Turns out it's a cream-to-oil cleanser. Oops.
Quick rant on the packaging: it sucks. I wonder why they think it'd be a good idea to put a cream-to-oil cleanser in a wide and flat round container with a twist cap. Because it's really hard to open, and then once the stuff got onto your hand, it's impossible to close. What's the logic here? I don't get it!

But other than the counter intuitive packaging, the cleanser works really well. I actually like it more than some of the oil cleansers I've used recently. It's scented, yes, but only mildly so and not too overpowering or intrusive. The firm, shortening-like texture took me aback at first--I thought I'd gotten an old and expired jar or something and the stuff had dried up. But after some googling, I found it's supposed to look and feel like that. And once I dig some out and massage onto my face, it melts completely into a thick and smooth oil. It also rinses decently clean and doesn't leave behind any film. Will definitely repurchase.

Sounds fun, like between a cleansing balm and a cleansing oil. I'll have to check it out!
Hi kuri,
Yes, I'd recommend it! In fact, may be I should pick up a few more when I go home to visit the family. Hmm...
Cheers,
D.
