Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy

In the past year, just out of curiosity I picked up a few Estee Lauder lippies to try, a limited edition Act IV Lip Duet Tint + Balm and two Pure Color Envy lip glosses. This post is for the Pure Color Envy, one is an Oil-Infused Lip Shine in 000 See-Thru and the other a Lip Repair Potion

All pictures taken in natural light without flash.

Both of these lip glosses are in long and squarish tubes. The Lip Shine has as brush tip and the Repair Potion has a fuzzy spatula applicator. Size wise they're a bit big, considering each only has 6mL of product. It seems EL has discontinued the Pure Color Envy lip glosses. I only the see the Repair Potion on their website now.

- Oil-Infused Lip Shine 000 See-Thru: a clear and balmy lip gloss with a cushy and moisturizing formula that's long lasting. The texture is rather thick but it's not sticky at all. I think it would actually make a great lip mask, although I don't know if anyone would want to wear a gloss to bed. The gloss itself has no taste, but there is a sweet and candy-like fragrance. This was really an impulsive pick but I ended up liking it a lot! I leave it at my desk and last I checked, I was surprised to see the tube already half used, which means I reach for it way more often than I realize!

- Lip Repair Potion: I did not use this Repair Potion and only swatched it for the blog before passing it on to a friend (I don't remember who ^.^"). Which is to say I can't comment on its formula or texture, only that it feels just as thick as the Lip Shine above on the back of my hand. I didn't like how the swatch appears milky though, because that means it has white base and will definitely show on my lips. If this Repair Potion had a scent, I definitely don't remember it.
