Paul & Joe The Oil

The last piece of my morning skincare routine when I went on a week-long visit with the in-laws was this 25mL bottle of Paul & Joe The Oil, also from the Makeup Collection 2021, on Day 7.  

Whatever good feeling I had with the Herbal Lotion and the Moisture Lotion that came before, The Oil destroyed it all--the same P&J signature fragrance was ten times stronger with this product than the Herbal and the Moisture Lotions combined! I'm guessing it was because this was an oil, which amplified the fragrance, but my god, couldn't they have toned it down a bit? Using this was no different than washing my face with perfume. Urgh. 

The worst part was that this was actually a really decent facial oil. It had a texture that was just right, not too thick, not too thin, and it did what it promised to do--it was pretty moisturizing! However, because of the super strong scent, I had to use it very sparingly. I did not purchase the full size of this one, and I don't recommend it either, unless you like strongly scented facial products. Why would they ruin a perfectly good product like this, I don't know. But they sure did ruin it for me!
