This is the last post for the Opera Sheer Lip Color, as the product has been discontinued for a few years now. The color 204 Pure Coral was part of the permanent lineup revamped in the fall of 2016, combining the previous "Basic" and "Color" varieties of the original lineup. I suspect they recycled the color names too, because the old "Color" line also had a 104 Pure Coral.

I liked the original Sheer Lip Colors, but I was miffed that there was so little product content. Even worse was that I had a hard time distinguishing between the "Basic" and the "Color" varieties. They had the same texture, finish, and pigmentation, as in none. Both were super duper sheer lip glosses in stick form, just as the name described.
This revamped line, which was supposed to combine the "Basic" and the "Color" varieties into one line, is--drum roll please--the same. Yep, still the same texture, finish, and (lack of) pigmentation. Still super duper sheer lip gloss in stick form. Good thing I bought only one color to try.
And once I tried it, I was miffed all over again: turns out not only they recycled the color names, they also recycled the color itself! This 204 Pure Coral was identical to the "Color" variety in 104 Pure Coral. It seemed I wasn't the only person who was underwhelmed by this "revamp" either, because while the Lip Tint remained as popular as ever, these Sheer Lip Color were discontinued. I wouldn't say I miss these, but I did enjoy them while they were available.
