Been using this 56.7g/2oz. tube of First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Oatmeal Mask for a few months now, since I finished the jar of Symbiosis Eight Hour Mask. This Oatmeal Mask came from the same generous Mystery GWP where I got Ultra Repair Cream Sugar Plum.
I needed another rich and moisturizing mask to add to the winter arsenal of 5-6 different sleeping masks that I rotate through every other night, and this fit the bill. This mask came out of the tube a beige colored thick cream with a non-greasy texture. There was no added fragrance but there was definitely a smell--a little bit like oatmeal, actually!
At first I used a peanut-sized dollop but that proved to be too much. Sure, the non-greasy thick cream went on clean, but it left my face sticky and icky until I wet my hands and wiped it off. The second time I cut that size in half and dispensed just a pea-sized dollop, which applied much better. Although my face was still slightly sticky afterwards, it was tolerable and my face did not turn greasy the next morning. I will have to wrap it back up soon though, to put it away for next winter. The weather is warming up and this mask is just too rich for warm weather.
