Picked up this Paul & Joe Creamy Blush in 03 Punk Rock because I wanted to own the pretty Compact 011. Yes, a total impulse buy -.-"
By the time I got this cream blush, this whole purchase had already proven itself disastrous: Lipstick 205 Strawberry Jam was ho-hum and Eye Color Limited 007 Castles in the Air was a total dud. So I was pretty wary of this Creamy Blush, after all I just wanted something to fill this pretty butterfly compact with.

Good thing the blush saves the day! The texture is thick and creamy just as advertised, and it has great color payoff. It's scented and not as crazy pigmented as say, Face Stockholm Creme Blush or Stila Convertible Color, but if you prefer a pretty paper compact over Canmake Cream Cheeks' utilitarian clear plastic ones, and of course be willing to pay a few times the price, I think these P&J Creamy Blush are a good choice.
The only drawback I see is the color selection. There are only three colors available, 01 Kitten, a peach-coral, 02 Joie, a bright-but-not-quite-hot pink, and 03 Punk Rock below. However, the limited selection can be a good thing depending on who you ask.
- 03 Punk Rock: a shimmer-free pinky red in the pan but goes on my cheek with more pink. Very pretty.
