Mustela Gentle Cleansing Gel Part II

Mustela recently had an Easter sale and I took the opportunity to stock up some goodies. Right now, we're using the 2-in-1 Cleansing Gel Hair and Body for our little guy (will post soon), but both hubby and I prefer this Gentle Cleansing Gel because it's available in a jumbo size 750mL/25.35fl. oz. pump bottle. Who wants to mess with a squeeze-tube and a flip-cap when there's a toddler splashing around in a bath tub? Not us.

Our close friend C. once asked me how much of this Cleansing Gel we use. She uses the exact stuff for her little gal, but somehow her little one's hair became dry and brittle. Whereas from the photos she's seen of our little guy, his hair is so smooth, shiny, and soft-looking (and it is soft). So I asked C. how much she uses on her little gal and how often she washes her little one's hair.

Turned out C. was using a full pump each time and washed her little gal's hair everyday. So I took a picture to show her how much we use: not much, definitely not a full pump which was how our last 500mL/16.9fl. oz. bottle lasted for about two years ^.^ Then I explained we only wash our little guy's hair on school days (i.e. week days) out of precaution, because kids mingle and who knows what they pass on to each other (lice, anyone?), and we don't wash his hair on the weekends. Now that we all have been sheltering-in-place, we further reduced his hair-washing to just twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays.
