Here's a super belated post for Chicca Mesmeric Wet Lip Oil--it was buried deep in my draft folder. This brand has been long discontinued, and this product has been discontinued for even looooooonger, and long forgotten too because it was been in my bag for years until I did a clean-out recently and found it. I did use it quite often when I first got it, but then forgot about it months later. By the time I found it again, it had gone stale and was tossed.

Chicca Mesmeric Lipstick Part III
In my last Chicca Mesmeric Lipstick post, I declared no more unless they came out with something special. Well, they did. The last collection Chicca released before Kanebo discontinued the brand had a couple of colors that caught my eyes, so I picked them up and then some: 44 Sweet Talk, 46 Soft, 47 Red Fir (I'm actually not 100% certain if it's Red Fir or Red Fur ^.^" Please correct me either way!), 48 Burgundy Gold, and EX15 Lucent Red Pure.

Chicca Mesmeric Lipstick Part II
I really liked the Chicca Mesmeric Lipsticks I have and picked up another four colors late last year: 23 Garnet, 39 Carnation, 40 Rose & Love, and 41 Red Blueberry.

Chicca Mesmeric Lipstick
So Citrine tempted me to try Chicca, and I picked up four Mesmeric Lipsticks in 06 Lucent Red (the shade she reviewed), 19 Red Rose, 32 Tangerina, and 35 Grape. Now before I go on, I should tell you that I also tried a Chicca eye palette, the Mystic Powder Eye Shadow in EX36 Fuchsia Island, and it was possibly the shittiest high-end eye shadows I've ever touched. Needless to say, that experience dampened my excitement for these lipsticks a bit.

Chicca Mystic Powder Eye Shadow
I blame Citrine for giving me lemmings for the Chicca Mesmeric Lipsticks, which I'll review next (which may mean a few weeks...). But when I was buying these lippies I spotted this Mystic Powder Eye Shadow in EX36 Fuchsia Island. It was pretty, so I thought I'd give it a try.
Honestly, I'm not sure what this brand is all about. It started out aiming for ladies in their 50-60's, but according to their official website, "chicca" is Italian for "cute." I have to wonder if women in that age group would really describe themselves as "cute," but okay, whatever. Nowadays, their spokesmodel is a much younger gal so I guess they realized they needed to do some marketing research after all.
