Point Magic Pro Pressed Powder UV SPF50+ PA++++

A few months before packing to go home, I looked into more sun powders and found four new candidates that were well-rated on Cosme. This Point Magic Pro Pressed Powder UV SPF50+ PA++++ is one of them. There are two shades available and I got 01 Bright Beige. The other is 02 Medium Beige.

HiPitch Cleansing Oil M (Mild Type)

Given how HiPitch Deep Cleansing Oil W and its splish-splashiness annoyed the hell out of me, I don't even know why I picked up this 190mL bottle of Cleansing Oil M (Mild Type). Impulse buy, may be? Or I was hoping this mild version would have a better texture than the regular one, like how DHC Mild Touch Cleansing Oil and FANCL Mild Cleansing Oil both have that thicker, cushy jelly texture. What was I thinking?

Well, I wasn't. And I wasn't surprised either that this Mild Type is just as thin and runny. Every time I pump some out on my palm it splatters everywhere. Urgh. Honestly, I can't tell the difference at all between this Mild Type and the regular version. They share even the citrusy scent and they don't rinse totally clean. So no more HiPitch oil cleansers for me! Time to move on.

HiPitch Deep Cleansing Oil W

Almost done with this 190mL bottle of HiPitch Deep Cleansing Oil W. HiPitch is a sister brand of Privacy, both from Kokuruydo Cosme. I forgot to take a photo of my bottle before tearing off all the labels, so here's a bottle from a local drugstore ^.^

This oil cleanser is scented with a light citrus scent, and it can be used wet or dry. I do prefer wet-dry oils like this for their convenience. There were times when I was so tired I forgot to remove my sunscreen/makeup prior to stepping into the shower.

That said, this particular cleansing oil is meh. I don't hate it, but I don't like it either and I won't repurchase. It's very runny watery, still not as bad as The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil but enough to splash every time I pump some into my palm. So goddamn annoying, definitely not portable and travel friendly. I think this is why the makeup cleansing gels are gaining popularity in Japan, because people are tired of spill and splash-prone cleansing oils. The gels are much easier to handle.

Privacy UV Face Powder 50 SPF50+ PA++++

Another translucent loose powder with superb sun protection in the form of Privacy UV Face Powder 50 SPF50+ PA++++. Privacy is a sub brand under the lesser known Kokuryudo Cosme. I believe this is the very first item I've tried from them, and you know what, I LOVE it!
