Lunasol Seamless Matte Lips Part II

Picked up another two colors of Lunasol Seamless Matte Lips some time ago but didn't get around to playing with them until now: 10 Brick from the permanent lineup and a Shinjuku Isetan LE EX03 Dates Red.

Lunasol Merging Color Lip Blush

These Lunasol Merging Color Lip Blushes were LE released of winter 2020. There were five different colors of which I picked up three, EX01 Velour Red, EX02 Magnolia Mauve, and EX04 Brilliant Flame, skipping the bubblegum pink and the nude-beige.

Lunasol Eye Coloration

Been dying to get to these Lunasol Eye Coloration since the spring of 2020 when they first came out! I picked up 4 palettes to try: 01 Twilight Sky and 02 Deep Rose Quartz, and the two limited editions EX01 Moon Tears and EX02 Mystical Coral. Caty was raving about them so I couldn't help but be curious.

Lunasol Seamless Matte Lips

Lunasol introduced these new Seamless Matte Lips in the spring of 2020. They were part of the sheer mattes trend and the promotional photos intrigued me enough to pick up several to try: 01 Opulent Red, 03 Fresh Raspberry, 04 Mandarin Delight, 05 Wondering Berry, and EX01 Darling Violet.

Lunasol Nuance Shade Eyes

In the fall of 2018, Lunasol released a new line of eye palettes called Nuance Shade Eyes. For the most part, these are the same-old same-old gradation schemes, with the exception of the palette 04 Dazzling Night Scene.

Lunasol Geminate Eyes Part III

In the spring of 2019, Lunasol did something interesting--they re-released an updated version of the long-running Geminate Eyes, now named Geminate Eyes N. In addition to the two available palettes 01CE and 05RB, there was also a LE release EX01 Amethyst. Being a fan of the palette, of course I had to have this LE palette. I found it on Amazon JP and thankfully, they were willing to send it overseas to me.

Lunasol Airy Glow Lips

Last fall, before the giant box of goodies, Caty and I had another smaller swap in which I received two Lunasol Airy Glow Lips from her, in the colors 03 Macaron Coral (CO) and EX03 Marron (BE).

These were a brand new release in the spring of 2018 as part of the Macaron Collection. I skipped that collection entirely. There were too many pastels, and I can't really pull off any pastel to begin with. I love the colors, but they don't mesh well with my yellow skin tone. That doesn't mean I wasn't curious about the lipstick line.

Lunasol Full Glamour Lips Part V

Last summer, I got a bit nostalgic again for Lunasol and picked up a few more Full Glamour Lips in the colors 43 Autumn Coral, 44 Autumn Orange, and 46 Soft Brown Red released fall 2017.

Yes, I did remember that they'd changed the formula of these lipsticks beginning the fall of 2016 when hubby and I were still in Tokyo. Yes, I did also expect  that these would all be creams with semi-opaque satin finish. I was really hoping the colors I picked would make them wearable all the same.

Lunasol Dry Summer Eyes

Finally, some colors in a post! Hooray! These Lunasol Dry Summer Eyes palettes in EX01 Warm Beige Nuance and EX02 Chic Beige Nuance were from the 2018 summer LE collection, and yes I've been sitting on them for almost a year T.T

Lunasol Oil Lip Balm

Last winter, I thought Lunasol's entire 2017 holiday collection was sleep-inducing and passed on the whole thing with the exception of these Oil Lip Balms. Even then, I skipped EX01 Tint Shiny Pink because self-explanatory, and plus stock photos shows shimmers, urgh. But EX02 Tint Red and EX03 Tint Bordeaux caught my eyes with their translucent juiciness and I sure had to have them.

Lunasol Shine Fall Eyes

Since August, I've been sitting on this gorgeous Lunasol Shine Fall Eyes palette EX01 Artistic Tone, fall 2017's Shinjuku Isetan exclusive. There was also a Full Glamour Lips EX09 which I skipped. I didn't like that Lunasol had changed the texture and pigmentation level for these lipsticks, making them creamy and semi-opaque, at least that's how I remember them. The last release I'd played with in person was the fall 2016 collection.
